: Villa Olimpo was a beautiful place in a nice location, close to the port, with restaurants around and walking distance from the train station. We received the warmest welcome from our host who took care of us so nicely.

: Marina was so welcoming and hospitable. The villa felt like I was staying in a Merchant Ivory film: it was an old fashioned pensione in an Edwardian villa, which is why it is so charming. The room was very large with high ceilings, a large bathroom and a balcony with a sea view. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Marina provided us with a kettle. It was 10 minutes walk to the seafront, old town and station so ideal for a stay without a car. Breakfast was to order the night before: continental with a lovely coffee.
: It is difficult to park on the road by the villa. We found a free space down by the supermarket. We only had the car because we were touring but didn't use it at all for the 3 days as we got the train to Cinque Terra, walked to Santa Margerita and Portofino and got the boat back. There is no fridge in the room, or air conditioning.

: Marina is a lovely and kind host. I really enjoyed my stay in her beautiful villa. The breakfasts in the beautiful conservatory were an absolute highlight, and Marina makes sure you have everything you need (and more!)I felt very welcome and it was a unique, homely stay during my trip. I can highly recommend.
