  : The cabin was clean and ready early so that my daughter, her husband and their four month old could arrive early and get settled. Thank you so much! We loved the cabin! The bedrooms were spacious and there was more than plenty of seating throughout. One of the dock boards was rotted, which we learned about when the dog’s leg went through, (he was fine). We reported it right away to Morton and Furbish and it was repaired immediately. The beds were comfortable and clean, but might need to be replaced soon. The two bedroom mattresses on the main floor felt like we were rolling into the middle a tad, but was not felt until the last two nights. Overall, we slept well!We played ping pong during the one rainy day we had and just enjoyed relaxing. We rented a boat for two days to fish over in the deeper water and to tour the lake and watch the beautiful sunsets. We found the eagles’ nest and then saw both male and female eagles at sunset perched near it. We kayaked in the evenings when the lake was quiet.
  : We recommend the owner purchasing a new shelf for the center of the refrigerator, and replace the top shelf in the door. As soon as we placed butter on the door shelf it fell off. We found some tape and tried to tape it back on like the bottom shelf was taped, but it wouldn’t hold. We left the shelf on the counter when we left. It would have been nice to have a large pot for cooking. We lucked out as I had made spaghetti sauce prior to arriving and had a large pot with me for cooking. The lobster pot provided would have been too big. We would also recommend more steps from the edge of the grass to the wooden planks and dock. We figured the wooden plank that was there was put in due to the muddy spots so we would recommend extending it, or add a few more steps. The cabin is situated on a slope with only the driveway for flat ground. We would have liked more flat ground for sitting around the fire and for playing corn hole.
