  : Lovely location and amenities. Provided extra linen for daughter with no extra cost.

  : It was a lovely hotel and the host was very friendly..She did not speak English but that wasn't a problem. The food was home-made and lovely. Refreshments were available all day. The host also could provide daily meals in addition to breakfast. The setting was very relaxing and pretty

  : The place is located in a somewhat remote part of the village (such that despite navigation I even had some doubts whether I'm driving correctly when arriving during the night). The grounds are spacious and rooms are located in different buildings. So we had to walk some minutes to main building for breakfast. That was fine in sunny weather but could be problem during rain or in winter. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast options were modest but by no means inadequate just not the amount of variety you would see in a larger hotel.
  : When arriving at late evening we had to wait for about 10 min before someone in reception showed up. The staff we met spoke surprisingly little English. Some wear and tear could be seen in the room, some of it seemed such that could be easily fixed. And despite having booked a room for 5 people (2 adults and 3 children), the bed linen was provided for 4. I'm sure they would have fixed that if asked, but given the language barrier and an overnight stay - I didn't bother myself to ask.
