This beachfront villa is located in the fishermen village of Povljana on the south-eastern coast of Pag Island. The property offers an outdoor heated pool a beach bar a restaurant and terrace with sea views. A private balcony with sea views is standard in all of Villa Kastel’s rooms. Each room is fitted with air conditioning satellite TV and a small fridge. The bathrooms have a shower cabin toiletries and a hairdryer. Fresh seafood and Mediterranean dishes are served at the Jardin restaurant.

The wine bar stocks Croatian and international wines. For a morning coffee and a newspaper you can visit the lobby café-bar. Free WiFi is available in all public areas at Kastel Villa. The pebbly beach is just 10 metres away. Sun loungers and parasols are provided here. The famous Zrće Beach as well as the historic Zadar Old Town can be reached by car in 45 minutes.

Pag Island is connected to the mainland by a highway bridge. The Krka National Park and the Plitvice Lakes National Park are a 2-hour drive away. Zagreb and Split can be reached in about 3 hours by car.

: Amazing location, great view, perfect breakfast, really nice and friendly staff, so comfortable bed rooms are cleaned well every day thank you for everything, we will return for sure

: My experience step-by-step:The location: next to the beach, but there is no separated area for hotel guests, as it is a free for all beach (sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent), visited by people coming from the neighborhood. Not overcrowded. The best thing you can do is find yourself a sunbed and an umbrella in the pool area of the hotel. You can choose from 4 restaurant (the hotels restaurant is the best!), which are all okay to have lunch or dinner. The crew: not much to say as they are professionals, very friendly and helpful. Thomas (restaurant crew) is very communicative and friendly. Food: the restaurants dishes are oustanding in terms of quality and taste. The other restaurants in the are are also okay.The hotel: nice sea view while having dinner or lunch. Rooms are clean and tidy, but the toilet paper in the restroom is of very poor quality. The one thing you need to pay attention to is that this hotel seems to be a popular choice among families with small children. So if you are annoyed by children screaming, I do not recommend it. Nights are loud due to the music coming from one of the restaurants, but the windows of the hotel perfectly insulate any noise. Our sleeps were not disturbed. All-in-all it is a very nice place to stay.The sea: very clean. The first few meters while entering the sea are very rocky, but as you walk deeper it becomes sand. The beach is rocky (tiny rocks). Neighborhood: typical vacation area, no local residents. Nice to place to have late night or early morning walks. Many ice cream places and you may also find a small shop where you can purchase beverages and snacks (really expensive!). To sum up: very nice place, with a very friendly crew. Strongly recommend it.
: One thing only: the management should monitor more strictly the behaviour of guests coming with children and make sure they do not disturb other guests.
