  : Quiet place, friendly staff, easily accessible, excellent food in the Ducks Farm Shop as well as the Kings Arms restaurant.
  : No consistency in room amenities like, 2 bottles of water were replaced with a large one. Teaspoons and cups were replaced with mugs but no spoons. There was no bath gel.

  : nice sized room, very quiet, comfortable bed, lovely big mirror
  : the whole property is very tired ( unlike the pictures) the shower could have been a lot cleaner even elbow grease would have got it cleanThe shower Gel was completely emptyThe mirror in the bathroom had no working light on itOf the 2 mugs in the room one was broken with a whole piece missing out of the handleThere was no spoons to actually make a drink The Tub chair was very badly stained and felt dampThere were bottle tops on the carpet by the dressing table and mirror There was rubbish on the floor beside the mirror and no liner in the bin

  : Staff very friendly and our evening meal was very hot and tasty with very good service Our breakfast was at the farm shop just up the lane which was excellent.
  : Our bedroom was of a good size with tea and coffee making facilities,which I always like.The room was a little tired but clean.The door to the room and also lock need attention !Very good value for money.

  : A wonderful en-suite room in a delightful location. The room was very comfortable, as was the bed. The towels were large, white and fluffy. The toiletries were very good. Plenty of tea and milk. Easy come, easy go. Great place if you want to be near a main route access by car or local bus but well in the countryside and near the sea. Some excellent walks with views out to Lyme Bay and Chesil Beach. Easy access to Weymouth, Abbotsbury Gardens and to pick up the main road to Dorchester. The rooms back on to the pub - that my friends say is very good. And there is the cute Farm Shop cafe where breakfast is served. The hot food is actually hot - how I like it. Bus stop just next to the cafe. Pretty little village too.
  : Labelling the shower electrical mains switch, or a short sentence on the information guide, would have saved me time playing trying to work out how the shower functioned! Probably unique to me as I'm not up to date with modern arrangements for showers. A little more information as to how the breakfast arrangements work would also have been useful for the first day. Now I know, it's great and all first class.

  : This is a village inn with very good dining area and a large garden. The breakfast was very good (full English) in a deli around the corner. The wifi in the room did not function, despite the room amplifier: the rooms are outside the main building, and the signal does not get there. This was inconvenient. The ground-floor room had integrated door/window with a curtain that I closed immediately. It was a nice and safe room with comfortable layout, but because of the entrance curtain the light switch got hidden, and I could not find out how to switch off the large ceiling lamp - had to sleep with it on. This was uncomfortable, although I cannot blame anybody but myself for not finding the switch (I checked all walls, though). My booking card was declined when the host attempted to charge it before my arrival, so I paid in cash when I got there. I am grateful that they did not cancel my reservation. Fortunately, they were not fully booked and could wait for my arrival. Altogether, for the price and facilities, this village inn was a little overpriced, but my stay was comfortable.

  : Our room was in the annexe which was up some difficult steps with no lighting, room pretty cold unseasonably cold spell in October would not want to stay in the winter.
