Disappointing

  : I loved the seclusion of it. Nice plot of land. House was decorated really nicely.Great set up for cooking. The puzzles were relaxing. Love the fire pit outside. You allow pets! No neighbors and light traffic. Lots of wildlife. Deer. Raccoons. Birds. Well protected from the wind. Great off grid location.
  : Had to change the shower curtain. No working smoke detector. Had to wash bedding before use smelled. Hot tub not working. Electricity faulty, Had to call for help..found unsafe wired lamp that was shorting out breakers.. spent first night No lights in bedroom.Gas bbq chained to wooded fence couldn't use. No firewood available. But advertising wood stove for use.Headboard on bed broken. Had to buy new pan to cook. Had to re wash dishes that were put away clean. Had to clean out dryer vent,plugged. Several windows were not easy to open and locks were coming unscrewed. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 8 nite stay.

  : The property is beautiful and serene. Very peaceful. Beds are comfortable and house is nice and clean.
  : Hot tub was not functional which was very disappointing since that was the main reason for choosing this property. It was dirty and didn't look like it had been used for quite some time. The shower did nor work, could only use the bath which was an inconvenience.

  : Spacious and peaceful in a beautiful location near the beach and town. Very clean and well supplied. Great firepit and nice deck. Plenty of open area for playing ball with our dog. Checking in and checking out was very easy. Kudos to Vacasa for their response to a problem we had at the house, and triple kudos for the rapid response when I found I had left a bag behind.
  : 3 things: 1) I had no idea how Vacasa hosting worked until I had we had an electrical problem at the property (dishwasher went out) and had to resort to sending Vacasa an email, which was "okay" but if you have an urgent problem, what do you do? We did get a prompt call from the local manager after the email was received at Vacasa central and forwarded to the local manager, and while the suggested fix did not solve the problem, I'm not sure what else could have been done by them without calling for professional help. Additionally, needing to communicate by email necessitates you have a good cell phone connection and it was marginal for our carrier, at best.2) I was disappointed we could not have a few friends over for a meal during the day and to enjoy the yard and dog time with us (it would have exceeded the maximum of four people on the property). There's little I enjoy more than to cook for my friends.3) Of the two beds available, neither was really comfortable. The one with a foam mattress had a soft spot that you had no choice but to lay in "the groove". The 2nd night we switched to the other bed and it sunk in the middle. We are not heavy people.

  : Liked the peace and quiet. Felt warm and cosy.
  : Sand in the hot tub when we arrived. The neighbours large dog was seen a couple of times on the property. We had a small dog with us, which was worrying.
