Poros Pine Villa

  : Poros Pine Villa is in a great location, very close to the Askeli Beaches and Tavernas. It is also close to Monastery Beach. Poros Town is around 40 minutes walk so a challenge in the heat. Taxis can be arranged. The property has fine views across the sea through the pine trees. The Villa is spacious and comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms but contains much personal clutter. It has good Wi-Fi.
  : The Villa is the lower of two apartment-style units. Access to the upper unit is through the terrace of the lower unit which means periodic disturbance. It is not a stand-alone unit with exclusive use. There were a number of domestic issues during our stay but I expect these will be resolved during the remainder of the season. We had a pleasant stay but the overall experience could be improved with better management and maintenance. This unfortunately can be a problem with this type of holiday rental and landlords should take care.

  : Beautiful house with a lot of charm and great sea views. 30min walk from Poros town. Hosts graciously allowed us to adjust the checkin/checkout dates even after free cancellation period was over.
  : With a little bit of effort this would have been a perfect stay. We asked for fresh towels but were told to contact the owner, which was confusing as we were communicating with the people managing the house and who appeared to be responsible for such things. In the end we made do with one towel each for the whole week. The shower in the main bathroom was unusable due to a drain blockage. Everyone had to shower in the en-suite bathroom instead. The en-suite bathroom lacks any lightning, or rather, there is a small fluorescent tube but none of the switches turned it on. During the day it's not a problem as the room has a lot of natural light, but at night you'll have to let some light through by leaving the door to the bedroom open. The ceiling in the en-suite bathroom leaks quite a bit of water when it rains heavily. It wasn't catastrophic but we had to use the limited amount of towels we had available to clean it up.

  : Excellent location close to beach and amenities. House was spacious and clean and had everything one could ask for: from clean sheets and kitchenware to insect repellents. The hosts were friendly and very helpful with everything! We received great suggestions and tips on where to dine and spend quality time on the island.
  : Shower drain in the main bathroom needs to be fixed as the water rises up making the shower experience a bit uncomfortable.
