  : Pub is in a great location and well decorated room with comfy beds.
  : The door of the room was straight on to the street and only had a standard hotel key lock. Didn’t feel secure & very noisy outside. Also could hear walking around and toilet flushing from room above. Ingredients were there for a really good nights sleep, but this lead to my worst night’s sleep in a long time. Advised staff of this at checkout and they are aware, but nothing they can do & stated that details said there was a separate entrance (not quite the same as the door opening on to the street). Very poor.

  : Advertised as pet friendly yet charge £20+ per night for dog, no dog bed in room - and when asked was handed a filthy mat from outside. We luckily brought a bed just incase however a lot wouldn’t seeing as though there is one advertised, along with bowls that also weren’t there. Breakfast was incredibly small, one slice of burnt toast with the eggs.

  : Room very comfortable and to a high standard.They seemed to have thought of everything. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom. The room had an iron and ironing board. Decent cups to drink out of with a teapot. A decent hair dryer that wasn't screwed to the wall or turned itself off if you moved your finger. Fan supplied to keep you cool. Fresh bottle of water daily. Fresh milk in a flask daily and could be refreshed from the bar as often as needed. It truly had everything we needed. Staff very friendly and cheerful, we were made to feel welcome straight away. We were actually taken to our rooms rather than being told where to go. Excellent value for money Great breakfast with a nice variety.I will definetly stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
  : Parking was an issue but certainly wouldn't prevent us from returning. Need to be prepared to pay In the local car parks or drive around for street parking.A step in the bedroom was hazardous especially through the night but it's an old building and this can't be avoided. Just need to take extra care.

  : Absolutely brilliant stay at The Crown Inn, with my children and 2 dogs. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the food, location, and ambience.
