Disappointing

  : As a rental apartment it was generally clean (excluding bathroom tiles), comfortable and well appointed Lots of towels Comfortable beds Water very hot very quickly Cleaning ladies and Aussie bar lady very nice and helpful
  : It is not mentioned in the rooms descriptions but if you are on the first floor especially room 7 as we were, you will hear every noise including walking and chairs scraping on the laminate floors above you at all times of the day and night. We could also clearly hear conversations from the apartment above. Had we known this we would have stayed on the top floor. Rooms after 7 are on the top floor. Disturbed sleep every night from people above and doors slamming above and below. Luckily we always travel with earplugs. Also when other tenants slam closed their front doors you can hear it throughout the building which is very annoying if you are trying to sleep. Bring ear plugs. Room 7 looks ok on the surface but if you look closer it is tired and needs a good makeover Mould on tile grout in bathroom around shower and bath Bathroom sink taps do not flow properly, when you turn them on the water flows up on to the basin where the taps are and then drains in to the sink itself. The downstairs Bar\Restaurant is open until 11 at night and there are lots of outside tables where people sit making noise up until 11, so you need to be aware of this if your room is on the beach side of the property.

  : lovely location, great view from apartment, apartment very clean. liked that we had some toiletries (shower gel / shampoo) and lovely clean fluffy towels. There was kitchen stuff (dishcloth, washing up liquid, extra black bag) and dog bowls, poo bags and a beer was a nice touch! Dog was very happy! Bedrooms nice, our teenagers didn't mind sharing with nice bunk beds and one single bed. Main double bed could do with a new mattress. Very close to beach and the Surf Side rum bar on the beach was really lovely.
  : Living room sofas not very comfortable and not really enough room for 2 adults, teenagers and a dog! Shower was okay, but would benefit from updating not very powerful. We were going to eat in the Oyster Bar one night but found it quite overpriced. If you have a dog, head to the beach at Rock its very dog friendly.

  : Staff lovely friendly & helpful. Beds really comfy, cosy apartment with everything you need. Great location for exploring Cornwall. Can walk to the beach & coast path to Daymer bay.
  : Sofa bed in lounge was not vey comfy to sit on in the evening.

  : Staff were very friendly. It was very busy in the restaurant when we arrived so the exchange with the keys was pretty limited. Bed was comfortable. Loads of hot water which was great as it was wet and windy. Definitely pet friendly which was nice as sometine this is not the case on arrival.
  : Windows didn't open very far which is shame (or at least we couldn't figure out how to open them.) Apartment on the top floor meant getting bags, dog bed, food supplies up several flights of stairs took a while - would be good to know more about accessibility in advance.

  : Fantastic view out over the beach. Spacious clean apartment with good kitchen and easy to cook thus saving a bit. Good value. Very comfortable bed . Brilliant to have a stress free car park on site
  : Noise transmitted from room above - could hear them talking - fortunately in different language. Couches saggy and uncomfortable- though not a lot of reason to sit there as there was plenty of reason to be out and about
