: The villa is highly traditional in a rural setting and with beautiful gardens. It is equipped with ample modern features including air-conditioning. We chose not to use this to help the environment, and the window shutters keep the villa cool. There are also portable fans which we used in the bedrooms. The pool was great, especially as we stayed in the middle of a heatwave. It was great to cool down and there are ample sunbeds too. Our host was Isabel who is both charming and highly efficient. She speaks great English, and nothing was too much trouble for her.
: I do not nit-pick as I do not believe in finding negatives simply for reviews. However, an information pack about the villa and its amenities would have come in handy.

: It was very quiet. Pool area was beautiful. Easy short drive into town.
: An electric kettle is a must have? Also chilly at night in April so warmer duvet would have been nice. The fridge made a lot of noise constantly. The water would run out before four people showered. An electric shower might be a good idea. A few little tweaks would give this villa top rating!

: Having several seating areas for different times of the day was great, the hammock was lovely. The pool was a good size and temperature. The location was quiet with good views of the mountains.
: The house does have a bug problem - there were lots of woodlouse and a few cockroaches. More amenities could have been provided - e.g. cleaning products, washing machine soap, more bin bags etc. The air conditioning is limited to being on for 2 hour stretches and during hot weather with young children who aren't used to the heat, this can be worrisome.

: it was private, we had our own pool so we could relax in the sun with our winter white bodies and get some tanning and relaxing in. plus it was away from beaches, so we had parking.
: a couple of nights we were surprised by the palmetto bugs. but those were to be expected.

: Good size Villa with great pool - well equipped lovely Villa. Very helpful friendly hosts. Everything we needed
: Air con switches off regularly - it was very hot and uncomfortable at night.
