  : Very spacious and clean apartment. Good airconditioning and just outside the busy centre.
  : Nothing. This appartement had no terrace or balcony, however you could sit on the sidewalk.

  : breakfast was not included It is not exactly an apartment. There are two rooms which communicate, but there is no door between them. One of the room are quite small and has a small bed.

  : The staff including Briken and Georgia at Dei Serafini went above and beyond to help out during my stay. The 1 bedroom apartment called Mari was centrally located on the main piazza and within walking distance to the Main Street for shopping and eating as well as the beach. If going to the local beach, I recommend taking reef shoes as its a rock beach. Also, if youre a light sleeper, I recommend noise cancelling ear plugs as the piazza can get noisy at night especially in August which is peak time for local and international tourists to travel to this area. The hot water needs to be looked at as there was little. Other than that, if you want more space, to be in the middle of the action and feel like a local, its a good option. Photos attached - note they were taken upon check out hence why the bed wasnt made and rubbish needed to be taken out.

  : Great location in a beautiful old building that is quiet and cool. Very helpful staff.
  : Terrible plumbing. Nothing drained properly in the bathroom or the kitchen. Water all over the floor from the shower. Breakfast offering was extremely limited.

  : The property was very cute, love the stone walls and the decor. It was in the most perfect location. Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The Prosecco and taralli were a lovely thought.
  : Whilst the suite was lovely, it was quite dangerous going up and down the steep stairs to the bathroom, especially during the night. Would have preferred bathroom and bedroom on same floor.

  : From partner: The definition of a lie is to present something that does not exist, or collides with reality. To represent yourself as a posh boutique hotel with a private beach, a luxury spa and wellness centre, having private parking, room service and a breakfast buffet for families suggests not only a posh hotel, it is what a posh boutique hotel would want to say about itself, because thats what it is. Reality however meant that none of these attributes existed and again and again were presented to us by the owners as either a misunderstanding, a category mistake based on booking.coms flawed interface, or a cultural dissonance, but as you will see it was nothing but a lie. Again and again we felt baffled by how the management of Del S told us that we either expected too much, had misunderstood the description given to us, or were simply too Norther European to understand that a private beach means somebody elses beach miles away that we have to pay 70 Euros for and book a day in advance to have the VIP privilege to go. The owner told us with a straight face that this is how things are in Puglia, which is rubbish given that there are numerous beautiful beaches that are free and beaches where you can rent an umbrella for a few Euros a few minutes walking distance from the centre of Pugliano a Mare. It was even worse for the advertised private parking: the owner looked puzzled when we asked where it is and asked her husband how much parking near the station costs, as if we were asking something outrageous even though it is clearly advertised as a provided service. The buffet breakfast also turned out to be non-existent as we were informed that the cook had hurt herself and coincidentally they stopped the buffet the day we arrived and we could go their cafe, which was a big disappointment since our son, who is ten, loves buffets. There was also no room service and no hotel. The whole presentation is completely contrary to what we found.
  : From myself:The property was completely misrepresented on booking.com - we thought this was a hotel with a private beach, a wellness centre, but instead it was a small apartment on an extremely noisy square. The downstairs room was completely inhabitable due to the loud noise from the busy restaurant adjacent. Our 10 year old boy, who was to sleep there ended up sleeping next to us on the floor in the room above, yet we were all woken thoughout the night by the loud noises and crashing of bottles being discarded by nearby restaurants. This was to be a very special week away for myself, my boy and my partner who has terminal cancer - and therefore potentially his last holiday. Therefore we spent 3000 on what we thought was a luxury treat - my partner was given a break from palative chemotherapy to make the trip. We booked what was advertised as a large 'room' in a facility with wellness centre, private beach, a bar and room service etc. At no point on the booking.com site did it say that this was a seperate apartment, that the 'wellness centre' was not accessible (apparently only available for a couple of the other rooms, but not ours) and the private beach was one of two owned by others, that had to be paid for and only accessible by car. The property told us that they could advertise the beach as they 'owned a couple of beachchairs' at each site. However, the price charged was the same as that provided through public booking online. We opted to pay extra for the breakfast given the extremely good reviews on booking.com, however when we arrived we were told that was not available as 'the cook had hurt her leg'. Instead we were required to go to the cafe owned by Del Sarafini which had an extremely limited range of options. Our request for a refund on the breakfast, in return for not eating there for 5 days, was not honoured despite this being promised at the time. All in all we hope booking.
