: Nikola and his apartment is a home away from home. Herceg Novi was my last leg of my Montenegro journey and Nikola and I kept in touch several days before my arrival. He made sure I'm okay and perfectly safe on the day of my arrival and his parents picked me up at the small bus stop, His father drove a short distance from the bus stop to the apartment. His mother assisted me and introduced me to the house (the language barrier wasn't a problem at all). The location of the place (Zelenica) is good, it's a short distance walk to everything: restaurants, coffee shops, pekara or bakery, big supermarket, bus stop, pharmacy and even hair salon; you can find anything in here, and almost forgot, to the beaches. I love walking, and so even if the distance to the city center is a bit long (around 2-3 kms), this is still fine for me. Walking to the right side from the apartment, I saw a quieter area of one beach (but didn't go unfortunately). On the main Zelenica road, (opposite one supermarket), there's also a beach. The apartment is clean and all the things are there. He has a huge fridge, and some water/beer/other drinks were already there. I used his washing machine twice, so that was a treat. Just one annoyance that happened was when I hang my clothes outside, someone stole my beach towel. So one tip for you: let the clothes be dried as quickly as possible and get them. Not the owner's fault. I met NIkola brieflly during my last day and we had coffee and he had arranged for an an airport transfer the night before. He even dropped me to the bus stop, to where the pick-up location is. He didn't have to do all these things for me, but went out of his way nonetheless. Thank you Nikola and your apartment. His generosity and assistance truly made my stay enjoyable and memorable. Cheers!
