  : We discovered this hotel last year and had such a lovely experience that we wanted back. Our stay was still nice this year too.
  : Our stay was still good but this year we got worse rooms, no night table lamps, no Sunday morning live piano play - what a disappointment! On top, there was a young, inexperienced receptionist that did not make things any better..

  : This is an old hotel which has once upon a time been very grand; it’s now tired and a bit past its best. It has a great location just a few minutes walk from the main square and the city centre. The rooms are basic with no air conditioning, no mirror other than in the bathroom and curtains which don’t keep the light out. Breakfast is a buffet with a reasonable selection of hot and cold options and is served until 10am.

  : The front desk staff was very kind. The hotel is an old building, but the room is clean, updated and with nice decor. The hotel is just off the town square. Construction made it difficult to get into the hotel, but that is not the hotel's fault. Strange to me, but after 10pm, there is no one at the desk.

  : superb, old building. the retro feeling. breakfast quite decent. breakfast room very nice. prime location, next to city square. parking right behind the hotel.

  : Nothing. I must appreciate though the hotel's cost management. Receptionist doesn't use a phone, so probably they make some savings there. They do not hesitate to deduct money for a room you never visited, so no cost for room maintenance either.
  : We have chosen Continental Hotel on purpose. They present themselves as a historical class hotel from the first republic. Moreover they are in heart of Plzen, which was a perfect location as we wanted to enjoy the city center. We did the booking around 13:30 and were looking forward to visiting Plzen in the evening.Unfortunately, due to unpredictable road conditions we were being late. The hotel has sent us an email at 21:09 that the hotel is closing the check-in at 21:30, which of course, we did not manage to see as during the driving, we did not pay any attention to emails. We tried to call the hotel at 22:10, when I saw the message but no reply. Btw, why do you even request my phone number during booking, when you are not even able to give me a damn call ?! That was the least you could have done... Not to mention courtesy and good manners. The next day the hotel has happily deducted the money for a room we never visited and refused any refund. As a bonus, when I called the hotel the next day I had an unpleasant, uninterested and useless conversation with their receptionist, who promised to check with the manager and come back in respect of the refund, what she never did.
