  : This was without doubt the worst hotel room I have ever had the misfortune to book. The room was old, grubby and we got no sleep due to the mosquitos buzzing over our heads all night. The bathroom was in bad need of an upgrade and was far from pleasant to use. There was an overpowering smell of bad scent in the bedroom and on the corridors upstairs - maybe to do with the mosquito problem. Breakfast was dreadful, mistake to include it. I cannot understand how this hotel has four stars outside its door - it is a maximum 2 star property. I will think twice before booking with booking.com again as description of room was most misleading. We paid 270 b&b expecting a clean room of at least 3 star standard it came nowhere near. My advise - dont be swayed by proximity to the train station do more research and find somewhere nicer for your over night stay in Pisa
