  : What I liked was the location. I wanted to stay on a property on a lake. I got what I wanted. But they say, “be careful what you wish for” and this is the definition of that.
  : I was greeted by nobody. The office was closed. The guest in the room next to the office had to tell me to grab a photocopied pamphlet hanging on the office door with my name on it. It had directions on what room I was staying in.When I located my “villa” I didn’t know it was the “villa” and laughed because the shed next to it was bigger and I felt sorry for the person who paid to stay there. How ironic.I opened the door and Chuck was in the room kindly programming the tv to automatically change to the Fox News station every few hours (prompting my kids to complain) and “cooling down the room” for us. He accused me of booking for just two people and I showed him that I booked for my whole family. I also mentioned in the conversation I had with him I booked for my whole family plus my dog. I talked with Steve the next day and he showed me the computer over at the boat shed and said my room was booked for four people. I saw it. It was. I was lied to directly point blank. He told me not to walk my dog on property and don’t leave it in the room even if it was in a kennel.There was a guest I observed him talking with shortly thereafter that right in front of him let his dog out of their room off leash to poo and pee on property right where folks walk. I didn’t appreciate the double standard. This guest throughout the stay only released his little dog off leash and it pooped and urinated wherever it wanted to in front of all of our rooms.At that point he told me the pullout sofa bed didn’t work. HE DID NOT DISCOUNT THE ROOM FOR THIS. One of my kids had to sleep on the floor.Disgusting rooms. Bare rust on the wall. There was a carpet of hair and dust in the filter of the tiny air conditioner. I took it out and cleaned it. The a/c worked a little after that. I accidentally knocked over my water bottle and went to clean the floor by sopping it up. The gray of the carpet is strategic.

  : No breakfast included. Location of the cabin adjacent to the lake was great. Easy directions and close to all the stores. My room had the basic amenities, full sized fridge, coffee maker, dishes and sink. They are pet friendly and parking space was good.
  : Unfortunately the AC window unit did not work at all. It was extremely loud whenever it kicked on and I felt no air flow, no matter how low I dropped the temperature. I actually removed the filter and cleaned it myself. It had not been cleaned in a very long time. I also noticed that the walls weren't very clean as well. The bedroom window was covered with cobwebs and dead spiders. I'd like to request a larger room for my next stay, perhaps the family room and with a lake view.

  : The cabin we had was a king suite and had plenty of room for us. It did have a view of the lake but not much.
  : The cable box for the TV went out but it was replaced quickly. The air conditioner was too loud at night so we just used the portable fan.

  : Tub faucet following off wall & creepy mat on tub floor (I can only imagine what germs are in that May!! A/C is covered by blinds so if you want to have A/C @night you had to have the blinds open (we put a couch cushion in the window. A/C & fan covered in thick dust/lint)

  : I thought we had the place to ourselves but it was a house with someone living in the main living area. I was under the impression that this house was our own. They did have a gate to the flight of stairs to get to our place on the outside of the property. When I booked this property I felt it was misleading due to the fact that it advertises as rainbow lake resort. I felt I was renting something on the lake with a lake view. They charged us $60 each night for cleaning, which was not worth it. I didn’t like that it was a second story unit where you had to climb stairs up and down to get our things unloaded and unload. They did not provide extra toilet paper, hand soap in the bathroom. In the kitchen there were no pots and pans to cook anything. There were no coffee filters to make coffee. There was no air conditioning to cool the entire place except for a portable air conditioner that couldn’t be moved of course, so it didn’t cool the place very well in the bedroom.

  : Love the location! Just a few steps right to the lake. Our bed was very comfortable. Our 15 year old granddaughter was with us and she slept on the pull out sofa bed. That bed was uncomfortable.
  : The supplies in the cabin were adequate for dishes and pots and pans, a roll of paper towels would help, especially if people are cooking and a box of Kleenex would be handy. ground coffee would be nice. These days most all hotels provide the coffee if they have a coffee pot in the room. But, like my husband said, for a fishing cabin it was very adequate.
