  : Lovley place, lovely host. Really nice family room with loads of space, lovely windows so lots light and nice furnishings. All modern comforts needed and lots of lovely extra touches you dont get in chain hotels. Included breakfast was great and food at evening meals was nice too. Host went out of their was to make us feel comfortable and was lovely and welcoming to my toddler and older children too.

  : Location was in a small, quiet village about 6 miles from the centre of York
  : We personally would have liked a king size bed as this is what we are used to and find doubles just that bit too small.

  : Excellent hospitality from the owners, they were friendly, very accommodating and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious, as was the evening meal which we booked for too. The room was clean and nicely decorated and a good size for a family room with a double and single bed. It's not far from the A64, which makes it a very good location for getting to York and other visitor attractions in the area. We stayed for a visit to Flamingoland and timings worked out very well. Our stay was very good value for money and we would definitely stay here again.
