  : - it's clean- it's well located - mattress is good
  : - maybe it was a special situation but I waited 30 min as the only guest at the counter until they checked me in despite they said several times that they will come right away - room is very small and I did not get the one I booked which would be bigger - check out starts at 8pm. I almost needed to beg that I was allowed to pay. Check in as well as check out was not framed with a smile; I personally think a smile should be a part of a professional attitude.- shower is not nice but ok

  : Gasthof Seefeld is a nice Hotel located by the lake on the dam just outside of Pfffikon. The room was small but comfortable and clean but the best thing is the Sonderbar and the Restaurant. Super nice staff, unconventional dishes at a very good quality, very delicious and great value. Will definitely book again

  : I really appreciate the very friendly personnel at Gasthof Seefeld, as well as the nice restaurant plus the cozy bar, which are both very well frequented throughout the week. The rooms are simple but perfectly fine for the purpose. Free parking right next to the hotel is also a plus - but finding a spot can sometimes be challenging because the place is so popular with the locals :-) Price-wise, Gasthof Seefeld is unbeatable for the region - I have stayed here several times in the past year and will be coming back.
  : Corridors / rooms could do with an update; not a big fan of the shower curtains. In summer, the lack of airconditioning can be an issue. As others have noted, there is a fairly busy road next to the hotel, which can cause some noise immisions.

  : Has a beautiful view of the lake. Is in a good location to visit Rapperswil.Had a dinner in the bar, which was very nice.
  : I knew that the location was going to be a challenge, as the Gasthof is situated right on the middle of a busy road into Rapperswil, a popular town on Lake Zurich. What i did NOT realise is that my room had 2 windows: one looking out onto this very busy road, making it impossible, from a sound AND exhaust pollution point of view, t open this window (nor its curtains at night due to a very bright light shining into it; the other, being the bathroom window, immediately opening onto the one and only smoking balcony, with various guests (and hotel staff?) throughout the day and night making use of this spit to light up a cigarette, or worse, and causing the smoke to enter my room through tis window, if opened. Thus, the lack of air in my room was very unpleasant. The check in process was long, as the restaurant staff, having to attend to Sunday lunch, had to do so and were only able to between kitchen and waitering tasks.
