  : It was a very beautiful building. The decor was lovely. The bar / reception area was cosy. Breakfast was exceptional. All staff were so polite throughout our stay. The leisure facilities were fantastic and easy to use. I would certainly come to stay again in the future.
  : Some areas of the hotel were very rundown and in desperate need of a touch up - walls painted, plastered and some new carpet needed in some areas. Public toilets on the main floor were quite dirty - cobwebs and spiders and one of the toilet seats was broken.

  : The cleanliness, the upkeep of the building (holes in walls and door frames, etc), the size of the pool, no vegan options for breakfast…

  : Theatre show, lovely walks.
  : Contract bus to theatre arrived late missing start of show and being unable to enter our expensive seats and being seated at rear of theatre.. Very dissapointing.

  : The waiting staff at both dinner and breakfast were very friendly and helpful.They made sure we were looked after and attended to. An example, at breakfast there was a short fault with the coffee machine. The waitress insisted she would go and get me a pot of coffee, even though I said I would wait until it was fixed. The quality of the food was also excellent.The reception staff were equally as welcoming and helpful.
  : Couldn't get a WiFi connection in the bedroom, although the public places were okay.There was only one chair in the bedroom.This seems to be common in a lot of hotels these days, irrespective of room size.Why do they think it's okay for one guest to sit on the bed?Could perhaps prioritise parking spaces for the disabled nearer reception and / or make the small overflow car park better signed. I had to park at the very furthest point of the main car park.However, these are the only small things I didn't like, and neither would stop me from returning.

  : The hotel was a little dated but I like the older style hotels and everything was clean fresh and very comfortable. Also very spacious. The location was great and this hotel is a great asset to Pitlochry.Also all the staff were friendly helpful and welcoming.
