  : Our room was beautifully furnished and clean. Although the pool area was ok, I felt there was a mismatch between the standard of the room and standard of the pool area.
  : It would have been nice to have clean towels on demand rather than every other day. The pool area could be nicer.

  : I'm sorry to leave a poor review, but I stayed in quite a few hotels in the same area and this was my worst experience (really, my only bad experience), especially for the money. I'll start by saying that the room was ugly and didn't match any of the pictures in the slightest, which was what originally convinced me to book the hotel online in the first place. That wouldn't be so much a problem, but three other things really took the cake and incentivized me to write this bad review: 1. The room stunk. It actually smelled like roadside sewage throughout the night. 2. The AC was weak and could only cool the bedroom so much. 3. I got a call to the room 1.5 hours before checkout to remind me when checkout was; this actually woke me from the alarm I had set for myself. I got another call 30 minutes later (1 hour before checkout) to start rushing me out. And then one more ~15 minutes before checkout to ensure I was out the door. Wtf!?! You're not a guest at this hotel, people. This was a straight, classic bait-and-switch. It's really not like I had high expectations. I'd say do yourself a favor and choose one of the other budget hotels in the same area.

  : The room was beautiful and the staff were amazing so helpful even at 2 in the morning when we arrived late due to a flight delay
  : The breakfast wasn't the best I've had it was put out on the bar to help yourself but felt confusing and muddled.

  : The apartment was really for 2 people rather than the 4. The sofa beds were fine but the air con wasn't enough to call the whole place and the kitchen area with sofa beds was really hot at night making sleeping unpleasant.

  : The room was nice and as per the pictures on the site for a queen bed room with jacuzzi.The location is good with lots of nice beaches, restaurants, etcOverall, a nice place. The cleaning ladies were especially cute with us making elaborate animals out of the towels when they changed them around (every 2 days). Owner and son are nice and helpful. We managed to book a car with the sons help and he was great throughout.Location with easy transport links (both within Chania but also (if arranged with hotel) can be picked up by coaches to places further afield.Quiet in the evenings, guests on the whole are respectful.
  : A lot has been said about the breakfast already. Its pretty basic with low quality products but convenient. Coffee is good. The snack bar lady is very nice. You can have eggs cooked fresh for you. The queen bed is in fact two single beds put together.The place is nice but feels a little budget (pool view is basically facing and in and around all other tourists hence dont expect any/much privacy).I feel it doesnt live up to the price we paid. Had it been half or two thirds of the price it would be more aligned to expectations.Apart from the owner, his son, the snack bar lady and the cleaning ladies, there are some front desk staff that are pretty unprofessional. As an example, when asking about directions and buses I was told to look at Google maps! When asked about what to do in Xania I was asked to go onto Google site. This was rectified later by the son when we booked a car and he spent some time with us explaining these basic things

  : Very clean property - the cleaners worked very hard each day and were very friendly. The location is excellent, there is a bus stop right outside that takes you to and from Chania old town. You can also walk only ten minutes to the beach and there are lovely restaurants on the sea front only 15 minutes down the road.
  : The Wi-Fi was VERY poor - could not use it at all really as the connection was poor. It is a shame because this was the only downside and would put me off going back. However if you arent bothered about Wi-Fi, the hotel is generally excellent and the pool side is lovely.
