  : Cottage could do with some TLC - door on bathroom needs attention as does shower head. Door to room with bunk beds doesn't close at all and curtain in the same room fell down - rail and all because it was not affixed. It was simply balancing in place.

  : Great view of harbour. Close and nice walking distance to all amenities eg, harbour, pool, beach Co Op, butchery, pub, take aways, restaurant e.t.c. Close to Lands End, St Ives e.t.c.

  : The view is the asset here. The balcony view overlooking newlyn harbour is wonderful. Its a cute space in general. The red lion pub nearby has great food. The bus service is great. Hills to the property are steep. Ive read a lot of reviews about the parking being good for a small car. I think maybe its more not confident driving. The parking space is adequate it could be with a large vehicle you would over hang slightly into the road, but I wouldnt be too worried about this. The beds were comfy, there is also a pull out single bed which isnt listed in the description which was a nice bonus, but no duvet etc. There are books and games in the living room. Sky and the internet was reliable. Kitchen well stocked. There is a washing machine and a couple of airers. The gas fire on the top floor was a nice addition as well. Neighbours next door are nice, although their house is a little run down, they are very friendly. Although with the access into all gardens from the rear, this was a little annoying with letting the dogs out for a wee as they wanted to explore everywhere along the terrace, as theres no gates between you and the other rear gardens. But as long as youve got an obedient dog its not too much of an issue. I would say to the host, get the cleaner to save yourself some money the boiler was that high when we got in, after a walk up a hill it was roasting. The boiler is easy to use, the hot water was immediate and the bath was lovely and deep.
  : At night lots is slugs would appear on the balcony, meaning you couldnt stand out there and look at the stars without needing shoes, also a risk for our pups. The cottage was quite dusty with cobwebs in a lot of places and is a little tired. Just mind the beams on the top floor as we forgot ourselves a few times and donked our heads on more than one occasion, but this was only when bending and picking things up In the corners of the rooms. The head height is more than adequate in the centre of the room.

  : A very pretty and comfortable cottage. We loved the fact that it was partly kept in the old tradition and not over-modernised. The beds were very comfortable and the little extras were very much appreciated. A big plus point is the private car park as parking would have been impossible, otherwise.
  : From the photos, it looked like the back yard was private but the gate was shared with the other houses in the row and there was no fence between ours and the neighbours back yard so we couldn't let the dog out. Very steep roads up to the cottage but ok if you're fit enough or take the car out each day.
