  : The location was absolutely stunning: off the beaten track, with broad sweeps of grass and beautifully designed flower-beds. Completely quiet and peaceful. The cottage was comfortable and homely, well laid out and thoughtfully designed with an excellent range of kitchen equipment. Comfy bed and wonderful views through the big windows over the garden. We were very content there and will definitely stay again next time we visit our relatives.
  : Decor a bit dated. A full shower would be good.

  : We liked everything, the surroundings and the quaint feel of the areaEnjoyed sitting in the large well maintained gardens watching wildlife and having breakfast on the cast iron seat just outside the cottage again watching the wildlife Wood definitely recommend a stay here

  : It was a pretty ottage and the location was good and very quiet. Furnished with taste - though beds seemed hard in places - old mattress springs? However, bed linen and towels were nice - and the kitchen well equipped. Everthing worked - which was good and much appreciated. Hosts were pleasant, though Mrs A was very defensive when shown my bruise. I found her difficult to believe when she said she had had not one complaint in thirty years! Air B&B hosts and hosts with Booking.com have all reviewed us as most excellent guests - so we are not 'complaines'. Just a word of warning to future guests - be careul in that shower!
  : The bathroom - particularly the poor shower. It had to be squashed into a corner. The controls were outside the door, which had to be kept closed. What trickle of water there was came in bursts of hot or cold. There was a nine-inch step up - then over a 3 inch drop, into a highly glossy small shower tray. My husband, who stood outside adjusting the controls, bruised my arm trying to help me out, because my back foot slipped on the tray surface, causing my right leg to scrape down the metal 'step'. I still have the cruise a month later, and had to take antibiotics when ythe bruise opened and became infected. I suggested they put a warning notice for future guests. Not well received! There was no shelf under the mirror over the sink, so making-up was difficult. Mirror rather high for me.

  : Location and setting - feels remote, but is minutes from town, beautiful walks, and coast. Recycling in the cottage - we loved eco friendly credentials, but would liked to have better signposting in the cottage - promote it ! We would have been more thorough
  : internet - would suggest making guests aware in advance - its the norm to have internet - its great way to plan what to do in the area, and has we known in advance we could have planned before arriving.
