Immersed in the Umbrian countryside 6 km from Orte I Segreti del Borgo is a beautifully restored farmhouse with its own orchards and a restaurant. Rooms here have refined rustic décor. A sweet or on request a continental buffet breakfast is served each morning. Regional and local specialities prepared with the farm’s vegetables and meat can be tasted in the restaurant.

Rooms are individually furnished with wrought-iron beds or mediaeval-style details. Some have extra space and air conditioning while others include a fireplace or a spa bath. Horse riding and archery lessons are organised at the Segreti del Borgo. You benefit from free Wi-Fi in all public areas.

: The location and terrace with swimming pool are stunning. Also, one of the reasons we chose this place was the presence of a restaurant, considering the remote location, as we didn't want to drive in the dark over the very small and steep roads. However, when we arrived in the evening the restaurant turned out to be closed that day as there had been a wedding that afternoon. When we expressed our disappointment the host offered us a simple meal, which eventually turned out to be abundant. This was a real treat!
: The tap water had a very bad metal like taste, and we didn't bring any bottles of water. Also there was a slight smell of sewer in the bathroom.

: Located a few kilometers from Orte, about 1,5hrs from Rome center, it's a great weekend getaway if you want a quiet and relaxing time, not so much if you want to be at the heart of the most touristic spots of the region. The place is beautiful, the restaurant great, and the spa that you can privitise is awesome. It's a nice mix of family-owned B&B and 4 stars hotel.

: Beautiful pool and views from the property, very helpful and nice staff
: We had a bit of an issue with check in as there was no one there when we arrived. We suggest letting them know arrival time.
