  : Naftis apartments is located right in the middle of Kontogialos Beach, literally only a few meters away from the sea. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! The apartment was clean, cleaning staff came by every other day. The accomodation comes with a fully equipped kitchen and working air conditioning in the sleeping room. The bathroom was alright and the interior is not really modern, but that's fine. All the staff has been very kind and complaisant. There are free parking spaces outside of the apartment for your rental car. If you want to explore the island of Corfu by bus, keep in mind that the nearest bus stop is roughly 20 minutes away and up the hill (approx. 150m above sea level). The bus takes you to Corfu town in about 30 minutes. Beneath the apartments and right at the beach, there is Naftis restaurant and bar, which offers delicious food at a fair price. The restaurant has glass windows all around and you can enjoy perfect sunset dinners. Throughout the day, they also serve snacks and beverages directly at your beach chair. There is a small mini-market only 10 minutes away. It offers everything you are going to need for your stay. Up the hill, there is Pelekas village, which is a small and sedate village with many taverns and some mini-markets. What I really appreciate is the honesty of the description and the pictures. You will get exactly what you are seeing and reading here.
  : Somehow the WiFi at the apartments did not work properly, at least my friendly neighbors (greetings!) and I could not figure it out. But you will have reception of the WiFi located at the Naftis restaurant, which worked fine!

  : The staff was SUPER nice and was accomodating with my late check-in. I arrived at 9pm and they just asked me to drop by their restaurant to get the key. The studio was clean and alright overall. The large balcony offered a GORGEOUS view over the sea. And the place is on the beach. Literally, which made a great difference to me. I love night swimming and staying very late on the beach. To me the studio was a great bang for the buck!
  : The AC in the main room was nearly facing the bed so I had to pull it on the side as much as I could to avoid being fanned all night long. The WIFI - although I could connect to it - offered no connection to the Internet and I had to use my phone as a hotspot. I learned when checking-out that it's because there's a different Wifi connection for the rooms. I didn't bother asking earlier as I had enough data on my phone plan but in my opinion it would have been nice to find an information notice that explained this in the room. Last but not least, on the very morning of the check-out, I noticed a paper on the ground close to the door of the apartment. It read that I was kindly requested to check out at 10am so they would have time to clean up for the next customers. The thing is that I had in mind what it said on Booking.com (between 10am-12pm). So I did my best and got ready around 10:20 as I woke up around 9:45. By the time I finished writing this at 10:45am they hadn't knocked on the door yet. But still, I felt pressured.

  : Fantastic location and really nice apartment overlooking a beautiful bay
  : Absolutely no contact from the owners despite me messaging them on the mobile number provided, via booking.com and via the email provided. As well as calling them including on the numbers posted outside the apartments. I messaged with a number of problems as well as a query before I came and got a response to none. Really disappointing. We had a problem with the bathroom leaking water from a plug and drain and had to mop it up with the towels meaning we had none to use. Hence the trying to get hold of the owners but no response ever andl had no towels to use. Cleaners only came once in five days which was also a problem as no replacement towels A real shame as is a great location but massively dampened the holiday as I was also then worried re what would I do in an emergency for example if locked self out as no way to make contact /get a reply. I was travelling with just my toddler so this caused me great concern

  : Stayed here as a couple. When we arrived, everything was decently clean. There is a big refrigerator (with a bottle of water), a coffee maker, tea kettle, and panini maker (to toast bread, for instance). The beds were very comfortable, and we loved hearing the sound of the waves, as the apartments are so close to the water. There was also plenty of parking space. The beach is very lovely, with soft sand. Unfortunately in May 2023 it was a bit too cold to really sit on the beach, but when it warms up, I'm sure it would be lovely. Housekeeping did not really clean up, but they did make the beds on the 2nd day, and they always ensured there was toilet paper. The owner/manager of this place is warm and helpful. Finally, we definitely recommend renting a car! Location was our main goal, and Naftis is so close to the beach! In general, very good value.
  : First of all, we did not realize just how steep the area would be. Be careful with the car. Also, ask in advance for directions since it is difficult to find at first. Second, there was a strange smell in the cabinet where the cups and plates were stored, so our first cup of coffee tasted bad! I think the cabinet needed to be aired out. We needed to wash all dishes again prior to use. Also, the pan we used for cooking was not great, as everything stuck to the pan, despite using margarine or oil. It would have been nice to have salt/pepper, if possible. Third, we requested one queen-sized bed instead of two twin beds during the booking, but it seems this was overlooked. It was not so bad, as the beds are still quite comfortable. Fourth, the bathroom/wc was smaller than expected. You needed to manoeuvre around to open the door because of the sink. It's still okay, but it is good to expect this. Fifth, this is a small point, but our view out to the beach had big electrical/telephone wires, so somehow that made it less magical than in photos we saw online. Finally, even though it's nice and convenient that there is a restaurant downstairs, due to low season, it closed earlier than we would like, so it was not possible to have a beer at 9.30pm. Luckily there are also other hotels in the area where you can have a drink. The food was decent. Prices in Corfu are higher for food, we realized.

  : Communication not great: I sent an email with a question before booking; no reply. I sent a message with a (different) question through this site after booking; no reply. I sent a request to change the number of nights of my booking; no reply. Sent again, got a reply after a couple of days.
