: Location perfect for hiking and touring the area. Nice mountain view from the room which had a sofa. Very tranquil due to it's mountain location. Communal area has comfy chairs and a small dining table to seat 4 for dining; bring your own food or travel 3Km to the nearest village if you want to eat after 5pm (there is no restaurant open in the evenings at the hotel)and I recommend eating in Taberna El Tascon (friendly host and good, well priced food).
: Having to drive to the nearby village for dinner, but only a minor issue.

: The property was immaculately clean and located within a beautiful area. The owner is friendly, informative and also spoke English.
: I stayed during winter in late February with the perfect timing of there being a severe weather alert within the area and most of Northern Spain.My intention was to hike around the Valles Pasiegos and check out the area which unfortunately I couldnt do.Due to booking in winter the restaurant/bar was not open and I could only manage to get one channel on the TV (cant blame anyone for that, must have been atmospheric conditions).
