  : The view from the room was fantastic . Good location for Chinon.
  : Bathroom dated. Hand held ancient shower head but no shower. Plug hole in sink rusty. Towels old and threadbare. Insect Debris on floor. Cobwebs. No outside light at door if annexe where room situated. Garden path leading to annexe not lit. Luckily we had a torch otherwise it would be hazardous in the dark.

  : The location is excellent. Beds and rooms are comfortable. The host is lovely and very acccomodating helpful. We very much enjoyed the tour of the winery and the wine tasting. We liked the pool area and the breakfasts were excellent. Overall highly recommended.
  : A little updating required and the equipment like sun umbrellas and seating poolside seating needs replacing. The wifi is very poor.

  : It was a light breakfast but that was my expectation. it is in the heart of the Loire and a great location to explore from. It is also close to Chinon for shops and restaurants.
  : We were there for only two nights and spent most of the time exploring so I couldn't comment.

  : Location was OK. Surrounding area was fine.
  : Beds were tiny, bed clothes were old - everything was dated or old/repaired and covered in a layer of sandy dust. We specifically wanted accommodation with wine tours/tasting, even emailed to confirm (but didn't get a response), upon arrival was told this wasn't possible as it was a weekend. Also, partner is scared of dogs and there was a large dog that was free to wander around and barked even if we moved in our room. Every time we opened the door to the main house it ran towards to the door barking, we had to move to bathroom quietly and use the exit at the rear to avoid the dog. Part of the road was closed for a full day with a motorsports event, only found out from another guest. This went on all day and well into the night. No mention of this before we arrived, despite it being obvious it was planned months in advance. We said we wanted to check out after 1 night but were told it was 2 nights min. So we stayed 2 nights, but were charged for 3 plus didn't take into account we'd already paid a 50% deposit so actually paid for more (plus local taxes). Breakfast was one croissant each and some bread, with a cup of coffee. Plastic chair was broken first morning. We have contacted Booking.com to try and resolve payment as owner made it clear that they weren't entering into a discussion. She also seemed to assume we didn't understand French. We did arrange a tour and tasting locally on a weekend at a nearby vineyard.
