  : Unfortunately I felt a little as though we had been mis-sold. where we stayed, it turned out, was different from the place shown in the photos on the listing and also at a different address to that given on the booking confirmation. it was a lot smaller than we had expected.

  : The location was kind of the best. It was near the Vucciria market and the Quattro Canti so it was easy to get to the market and Via Maqueda also to the port. I can say the host was friendly enough, even though I didn't enjoy staying in that room at all.
  : The rest of all except the location. When you book an apartment, you expect something very basic regardless of the amount of money you pay. You cannot expect a 5-star hotel quality bed, but you still can expect a fair-condition of bed for example. The condition of this apartment was far from that. - Dirty and uncomfortable bed There were at least 10 hairs (long and short) on the mattress cover when I got to the apartment. Thanks to extra covers under the bed (Yes, I had to change that by myself even after I talked with the staff.), I could stay there worrying about possible skin trouble or even bed bugs that can come from that unsanitary. (I had to iron those 'seems new' covers before changing. I mean who can believe if they are clean when it was right under the bed with unclean covers?) Believe me, I had traveled to around 20 cities in Europe and Asia and stayed in different accommodations from 8 people dormitory to a single bedroom. It was the first time I face this kind of unpleasant situation. The mattress? I felt like I was sleeping on the bottom of the shower booth. The shape of the mattress would be like ")" when you are looking next to it. It's been 7 days after the travel but I still suffer pain in my back. - Bad smell and poor ventilation I could feel bad odors every time when I get back to the room. If you open the windows from the bedroom, you can feel a bad smell coming from the kitchen of the restaurant on the ground floor. - Missing/ broken things The coffee maker was broken so it was on the top of the kitchen shelf when I checked in. there was no electric kettle, mosquito nets, or wardrobe. Instead of those, there was mold in the bedroom wall, and a clogged sink in the bathroom. - Poor soundproofing. I could hear chats coming from the stairs outside the room. I understand it is an old building, so it could be like that. but in that case, you shouldn't mention soundproofing.

  : Excellent location in the very center of Palermo. Spacious apartment with 2 separate bedrooms (both with a matrimonial bed), one small bathroom and room with kitchen and living area. A few meters from the apartment there is a nice cafe where you can have breakfest. Parking lot (A.Pagano Parcheggio) is available nearby for 15 per night, but the access there is through a very narrow alley, so be careful.
  : Apartment is very dark, one of bedrooms has no daylight. This probably will not be a big problem, because tourists are out during the day anyway. There is no internet connection or night lamps in this bedroom.

  : Cute apartment with a small balcony in front of the bedroom. The neighborhood is central, however not noisy.
