Located in an elegant 17th-century building B&B Kasa Kala is a 15-minute walk from Palermo’s Cathedral and 1 km from the harbour. The B&B offers Sicilian-style rooms with a shared bathroom and a daily sweet breakfast. Rooms feature classic furnishings and traditional decorative details from the 19th-century. They all come with a desk and tiled floors while some boast views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

WiFi throughout is free. A self-service breakfast is provided in the rooms. You will find breakfast ingredients including biscuits and snacks together with milk and tea. Guests can go for a walk through the colourful Vucciria street market which is 5 minutes away on foot.

: The apartment was very clean, the AC worked well, the bed was comfortable, and there were lots of little extras (snacks, coffee, kitchen necessities). Great location for walking to the centre or exploring the Kalsa neighbourhood. Kasa Kaletta was off the main street, so it was nice and quiet. We needed a place with a washing machine for a few days so this was a great stop for us. Easy-ish to find parking outside of the ZTL zones for the days we rented a car. Manuela was very helpful, offered personalised check-ins, and answered questions quickly!
: It wasn't clear to us that the "deluxe double room with a balcony" also had a shared living space for the kitchenette. However, sharing with the guests from the other room was fine. There was also an issue with booking.com and the check-in date, but Manuela sorted it out and put us in a nice private apartment next door for our first night.

: Amazing location and a great host, who was readily available to help us via Whatsapp. The flat was very clean and with all the amenities we needed for two nights. Beautiful living room and a great bathroom.
: Sound of traffic might be a problem for the weaker sleepers, but comfy bed and shutters might make up for it.

: Location was very quiet. No traffic noise because It is located in a small street. And yet, it takes you only one minute walk to get to the harbor or to the next bus station. And I rially have to say: Public transportation in Palermo is just exzellent and very cheap.
: Elevator was out if order.

: It was not a pleasant stay. I'm on a long trip, booked so many hotels and apartments,normally I need to pay on booking in advance,but not this apartment ; normally it is +4 euro for tax and other charges,but this apartment charged me extra 24euro by themselves,not through booking.Yes,if you read very carefully you will find this apartment does say 24euro extra under the price,but it's just so different then others,even other apartments in Palermo will include this 20euro in price and only ask for extra 4.

: Manuela was very attentive and gave all necessary details. A late arrival and during misplacement of the keys on our part she was understanding and responsive. An excellent host. The property balcony was perfect with a very nice kitchen and living space. The bedroom was very comfortable with a stylish and clean private bath. I would come back again in the future.
