  : On arrival the property looked a little tired but on entering it was great, self service breakfast great - ham croissant pain au chocolate , cereal , eggs hard boiled, coffee and tea etc

  : It was clean, breakfast available, and met our needs for location.
  : Parking was a struggle, even as we got one of the coveted spots behind the house. Also, when we booked, our confirmation said that we had an en suite bathroom, but on arrival, we had a room with a shared bathroom. The room with a gabled ceiling was also difficult to stand in and maneuver around the bed.

  : Quality of bedding was excellent. Good location for the bus journeys
  : Room was exceptionally small (in the attic space) no room to put anything and no dressing table/mirror. Shared bathroom with no shower, could not use the bath after someone else when it wasn’t cleaned. Breakfast room was like a dumping ground, no staff, so items were not replenished, no juice left, no toaster, very poor.

  : Good location for where we needed to be.
  : Parking spots not clearly marked and very small - do not rely on there being a space. Decor dated and overall the place needs a spruce up (e.g. chipped/marked/dirty paint work). A hoover and linens had been left in the hallway which we had to clamber over with our bags when we arrived. Bathroom radiator had been left on despite it being a very warm June day so bathroom and bedroom unbearably hot on arrival and only one window out of the three would open. Fan provided wasn’t in great working order - broken blades and noisy. As the guest house is on a main road it’s quite noisy so be aware if you’re a light sleeper. The place is unmanned so no one to ask questions such as where to find an iron. When we did see some staff (possibly cleaners) the following morning they were not very welcoming and didn’t appear to want to be there. Breakfast was fine for a quick bowl of cereal but nothing special. Overall I would say the place is overpriced for what you get - pictures make it appear much more charming than it is.
