  : The hot springs were the best feature for sure !
  : The rooms however are super outdated , and got really cold in the bathroom. Needs new windows for sure ! Fix the insulation please. Also, when I booked I told you I was bringing pets and you gave me an estimate. After I stayed I was charged an additional $70 for a pet fee that should have already been included as again , I chose a pet friendly room and told you I was bringing 2 dogs. I don't like extra sneaky charges just tell me UP FRONT what it costs. There was no coffee cream or sugar in the room for the coffee maker as well. Which was odd.

  : We love the pools/hot tubs and free breakfast. The easy access to the ice park is fantastic. The staff is very nice and friendly. The free access to the steam and dry rooms/saunas this year was a huge plus. Very relaxing and great way to recover after a long day climbing!! We will continue to make this place our annual vacation and base camp when we come to town.
  : Starting breakfast a half hour earlier would be a huge plus. When the ice park opens at 7:30 or 8a, the 7a opening time makes it difficult to not feel rushed through eating in order to get ready with our day. Also, much to our own fault, we didnt realize we had booked a room so far away from the pools/hot tubs. Unfortunately the staff was not able to accommodate us and update our room which made it very tough for my young kids to be walking across the street and up the block to get to and from the pools. Also, the fridge in our room didnt work which was quite unfortunate since we brought a lot of perishable food to get us through our stay. The one upgrade that would be much appreciated would be a microwave in the rooms.

  : The location is prime as its walking distance to all the main attractions in town. The private hot springs and vapor caves are well kept and worth not having to use the public pools. There was one guy working at mineshaft when we got here and had the whole restaurant to run and he did an awesome job. Younger guy shoulder length hair. All weekend we were here he seemed to be the only one serving and did well! Food was great as usual.
  : Was disappointed this time as the room had dirty glasses and mugs. When we took them to the front desk the girl didnt know where new/ clean ones were. We asked for a clothing iron twice and never received one. When we asked the front desk person about making reservations for next summer the lady was rude and condescending when we told her we used booking.com instead of their direct website. She told us the dates we wanted were unavailable but when we went online they were open. They also do not offer any loyalty discounts. We only stay here when we come to Ouray and have come 4-5 times now so it would be a nice perk.
