  : Nice home made breakfast - lots of freshly made cakes and good coffee. Beach is on your doorstep and town centre is about 10 minute walk away. Really friendly welcome and room was very clean and cleaned every day.

  : This hotel is in a great location, especially if you have a car, its easy to park. Its a short walk to a free beach and a beautiful 5-10 minute walk to both another free beach and the historic centre. Big variety of home made sweet treats for breakfast, very yummy!
  : traditional style rooms, clean but small and not much space especially if youre on a big trip with a lot of luggage.

  : Location is close to both free and for pay beaches. It is an older hotel but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening and enjoying a glass of wine before dinner. Desk staff very helpful, especially the young woman who worked the late afternoon shift.
  : Harder to find than we thought but that not the hotel fault. Location not bad as only about 10 minutes to lots of restaurants and shopping. Another five to historic area.

  : The location of Hotel La Plancia is great. The view of the water is lovely. Gabriele is a fantastic host who communicates beautifully. His mother makes fabulous pastries for the nice breakfast buffet. The easy parking was a huge plus.
  : The property could use some updating, but is very clean.

  : Nothing. It was a horrendously bad stay because of the behavior of staff who tried to cheat us out of money.
  : We stayed for 5 days in two rooms, paying around 1200 euro for this stay. Yet, at check out, staff told us to pay extra, showing us some handwritten scribbles on pieces of paper. They said that because we would make a sandwich at breakfast (we eat very little in the morning due to medical reasons and indigestion), we have to pay for these. They calculated 10 euro for a mini sandwich! At breakfast I would eat 4 pieces of fruit and two mini cookies, and coffee. The cost of my breakfast was around 1.50 euro. It is disgusting of staff that they tried to cheat us out of money, presenting some fabricated receipts and scaring us that they have cctv recording of how we make a sandwich!! What kind of staff spies on guests eating breakfast!? Also, as a woman, I felt deeply uncomfortable when the unpleasant boy from the reception was standing 1 meter away from me at breakfast. It was like a breakfast police. Staff in the hotel are not trained and they made us very stressed. I did not pay over 100 euro per night to feel stressed! At breakfast a grandmother was making small sandwiches for her grandkids, turning her back to the camera. I wonder if the staff also tried to cheat a 80 year old woman by presenting handwritten receipts with random prices (theres no food menu with prices stated transparently). Further, you cannot sleep in the room because the cleaning cars and rubbish cars come at 6am right under your windows. The wifi was very bad in our rooms too (ground floor and first floor). Hotel la plancia needs to respect peoples different dietary requirements and medical conditions. It is also not acceptable for a man to hover over a woman guest throughout breakfast.

  : Location is excellent just outside the centre so parking is stress free but only a short 10 minute walk to historic centre and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised to find excellent public and private beaches literally across the road from the hotel. We were greeted by friendly helpful staff. We arrived before official check in time but were allowed straight into our rooms. We were given parking permit at discounted rate and a discount voucher for sun beds on the local beach. We were able to get a coffee at the little bar next to reception. All very welcoming and ensured we got the best from our stay We only had one nights stay but wished we had longer
  : Shower was as a little small and the rooms a little dated but didn't affect our overall satisfaction with the hotel as compensated for by the friendly staff and great location and overall still very good value for money
