  : Location was superb. Authentic Italian character building in narrow street off main route with restaurants, shops, bars and pasticcerias. Lovely host and breakfast. Rooms were light, airy, spacious

  : Person checking us in did not have any preferred parking place for us but spent extra time riding in our car directing us to another parking lot.
  : Host sent multiple emails telling us to check in at 1 PM even though they advertised a wide check in time. I responded but the senders address had a no-reply caveat so the responses didnt go through. We adjusted out time but had to wait to check in and host wasnt aware if we had a reservation. Lots of wine bottles on display but no glasses on the room, and no one to provide any. Breakfast was 0.2 miles away and consisted of a single pastry and drink.

  : Good location, close to a major car park. Small, cosy place. Felt private.
  : Our stay could have been better. All the 'ingredients' for an excellent stay were in place, but we felt the hostess was a little cold and bossy upon arrival. Sometime earlier we gave an estimated arrival time. But of course holiday makers cannot always stick to their timings to the minute or hour. Things happen along the way. For various reasons we ended up being an hour late, but the hostess made us feel that we were really putting her out. Instead of making us feel welcome and saying don't worry, it's ok, she made us feel rather like recalcitrant children. So, things got off to a bad start. It later emerged that she was trying to manage two separate properties simultaneously by herself, at some distance apart. This was not our problem, of course, but we were made to feel as though it was. She should have had someone on hand to welcome us when we arrived, either herself or someone else (but not the neighbour, as it turned out). This is important. Small details such as this matter. Such experiences, although perhaps nothing to the host, can taint a guest's experience, making them less willing to recommend a place to stay. I want to be fair to the hostess - she did a good job overall, but I think that perhaps she needs to be slightly more relaxed when it comes to the possibility of guests arriving a bit late, and ponder the fact that 'the customer is always right'.

  : Breakfast was mediocre, croissants not always fresh, no variety, very little protein.

  : The location was really good with car parking nearby which was very expensive. The breakfast was basic but plentiful, not buffet style as shown in ad.
  : The 'suite' was not as advertised, it was not prepared for twin beds as booked. This was begrudgingly set up upon our arrival. The room did not have a tea/coffee maker or kettle. There were no glasses, we were given two paper cups to last 2 nights. The flooring in the bathroom was breaking up due to water leaking.

  : Very good stay. The owner patiently waited for us, even though we arrived really late. Breakfast was good, room was comfortable, location was excellent. The place has a character, which is a very important factor for us. Highly recommend this place!
