  : Our room was dirty. If housekeeping was there at all, it was to make the bed and that's it. The sink had used soap and wrappers on it, soap wrapper in the tub. Hair in the sink, in the tub and on the floor. Stained towels were oddly placed. Unsure if they were even clean. There was a leak somewhere because the floors had water all over. We tried to dry the mess, but the water continued. There appeared to be damage to the wall behind where the shower was that they attempted to patch, but maybe unsuccessfully. The last straw was the wet bed. We tried to salvage our stay, but the water and filth were too much. Not the guests' responsibility to clean and dry a room upon arrival. No rooms available for a room change. We asked to cancel and get a refund withing an hour or so after check-in and was told they would cancel the reservation and provide a full refund, including the deposit. 24 hours later, when we spoke to booking.com, the reservation had not been cancelled. Spoke with 2 representatives to attempt to resolve the cancellation and refund. Yet to see if the refund will be honored.
