  : The cottage was the perfect size. A two seater table, small couch, microwave, coffee maker, fridge are there for use. Bathroom is small, but it serve its purpose. Patio area is a pleasant place to sit for coffee in AM or wine in PM overlooking the stunning tall pine tree, watching squirrels and hoping for big Al (resident alligator) to show up. While the picnic tables as well as lounge chairs around the bonfire pit facing the water are available for use. It rained the last two nights/days we were in Onalaska, but rain or shine we had a wonderful visit. DaLinda checked us in early and she was AWESOME! Loretta the housekeeper was also very friendly. Lake Livingston State Park and Big Thicket Natural Reserve are good options to hike at. Restaurant options are within min away.
  : The bugs got in the cottage at night, but we manage to keep them at bay. Turning off the lights helps. Be aware that the bed is a full size bed (good that I am very petite, but my other half is 6 tall. It was small for him. The highway noise is loud when you are in the patio, but when inside the cottage you can barely hear it. Its like a white noise with the AC/heater running.

  : Great little cabin/cottage! Nice furnishings. Bathroom itself was good size. Fridge/freezer was small but suitable for my needs. A/C worked great in the miserable heat wave Summer 2023! Picnic table out front facing the water, with a grille

  : Cottage was spacious, clean, & private.Better than a hotel room or roughing it.Friendly and attentive owner. Would rent again.
  : A little pricey (what isn't) but on par with a hotel room at that size. Our stay was too short. Road noise was loud at times, but It didn't bother me. (It might bother others)

  : The neighbors, besides the smell of pot and them trying to state my dog wasn't a service dog, FYI him barking at night was him telling my ol'man I was having a seizure. I have night seizures and I had all his certified paperwork on hand. Other than that the lady who checked us in amazing best service ever.
