  : The hotel had sketchy people coming in and out of it but we continued inside to check in for our first night. We were met by a stench in the lobby and it was clear to us that the hotel hasn’t gotten a good clean in a while. We checked in and got our room. The bed sheets were stained and the cover that was over the bed as well. The couch smelled and looked like it had never been cleaned. It was genuinely hard to convince ourselves to stay here because of this and strong moldy smell. For 60$ a night we obviously didn’t expect anything spectacular but we did expect at least some level of cleanliness. After looking at our room we went downstairs to the front desk where an old white man was sitting(this person was not the one that checked us in when we came in) we asked for a refund since we were not sleeping here tonight. He said there was nothing that he could do for us over and over again and said to come back in the morning and talk to the managers. He stated that just because we didn’t want to stay here he wasn’t about to do anything for us. He said only a manager can deal with the problems that we were having. He was extremely disrespectful and rude, absolutely no customer service. After about 5 minutes of going back and forth with him we gave up and went to a different hotel. We came back the next morning and a different front desk person who was NOT a manager helped us, so what that old man said the night before was a clear lie, and although we didn’t get a refund for the first night he was able to not charge us for a second night so all in all we wasted 60$ instead of 120$ which we were grateful for.
