Cozy Everglades City Studio Cabin - Steps to Bay!

  : We liked everything about the city of Everglade City and enjoy the heck out of us to stay here in town just the arrangements that came into play getting here was confusing and directions were extremely poor
  : But we hated the most was the fact that my reservation was canceled a week before we were to arrive because of some technicality and then when we did rebook they charged an extra $100 a night and when we got here the room was cluttered with all of their stuff as storage for toilet paper towels and sheets and bedding in the closet and all the doors were completely packed with stuff for the room and I had no room for my clothing or garments very disappointed

  : Very quiet, rustic, remote. Beautiful area, much closed around due to COVID, but I brought food and beverages. Quiet. Wildlife. Netflix in a remote place! Old Florida, in a good way.

  : Small, very little hot water for a shower. There were supposed to be extra showers by the pool, but they were gutted and not in service.

  : Very small! Pictures were deceiving the reality! No sink in the bathroom! We had to take the garbage out ourselves and to strip the beds also ! Charged us already $60 for cleaning, why do I have to clean myself everything?? I want my $60 back because I did what I am not supposed to do considering that I paid for the nightly fee and really, do I have to do the rest ?! Shame on the people who rented out ! Very miss informative and pictures nothing like the reality! 1 all the way ! Never will go back! Shame !!!!! Quit lying people! Tell people before they book that they have to do what you expect us to do with one day before we check in!

  : It is great location especially for boaters/fishermen. There was a nice sized table to eat meals at.
  : The photos online show a screened in porch, but this unit did not have access to the porch. This unit is only half the building and was not described as such online. The full sized bed was uncomfortable and we had to use the bunk beds. There was not enough hot water to last for one shower.

  : The pros: The location of this cabin was pretty good - right across the street from the Gulf Coast Visitor Center & somewhat close to restaurants in town. The boat slip was close by. The TV, wifi & air conditioning worked. We didn't have to interact with anyone to check in or out, which was nice in regards to COVID.
  : Overall we were displeased with our stay. The cons: 1) The cabin felt much smaller than in the photos. I would not recommend having more then 2-3 people stay here or you will step on each other's toes 2) The bed was very uncomfortable & small 3) the kitchen wasn't really a kitchen - it had a microwave, sink & toaster. There was a coffee machine but only instant coffee provided. There was no way to boil water, so the instant coffee & food we managed to make was lukewarm. There were only enough bowls/plates/cups for 2 people. 3) The cabin didn't look or feel clean 4) The bathroom towels provided were very basic. We couldn't find a bathmat & some of the towels had small stains. There was no sink in the bathroom. 5) There were a lot of house rules to follow when checking out (strip the beds, take out the trash, etc). When we stripped the beds, we found stains on the mattress & pillows. An expensive stay for what was actually offered. Unless you want to be very close to the everglades center & have access to a boat slip, there aren't any features to justify the cost (especially when cheaper motel rooms are available).

  : Advertised as a studio, no cooking facilities,no stove microwave oven didn't work.couldnt fit in tiny shower. Entire property was run down and in need of mtc.priperty advertised for sale and is a dump. Stay away.
