  : The proprietor was very friendly when I arrived and I didn't get there till late, maybe 10:45pm. I had no issues with road noise as other people have mentioned, the windows were double glazed and kept most of the noise out even though I was facing towards the road. The bed was comfy.
  : The bathroom looked rough, functioned fine but really could do with a little bit of tlc. The hot water took a while to come through on the shower but got there in the end. The main thing is the window in the room into the hall (as shown in my images), a feature of a bygone era. I think the owners should block this off with anything or paint over it as the light in the hall is motion sensor activated and came on a few times when I was trying to get to sleep.

  : Friendly host who was there to meet me when I checked in and answered any questions I had. Convenient location, 15 minute walk from town centre.
  : On a busy, noisy road and the traffic kept me awake even in the early hours. Very tired-looking room with basic facilities (although the shower was pretty good) and heating was full-on during the night but cold in the morning so this added to the discomfort. Also when the light came on on the landing this shone through a window in the room, adding to my insomnia. No breakfast included. It might do the job for you if you can sleep anywhere but there are better places to stay in the area for much less.

  : It was very basic. But, ok for just 1 night.
  : Bed was uncomfortable. Very cramped shower room. But, i guess you get what you pay for...No wifi!
