  : It's quirky but convenient, I booked as I needed secure parking and it is a great location for visiting the town, the room was large and had a very comfy bed which was welcomed after a lot of travelling interspersed with lots of hiking. Everyone in the comments raves about the eggs at breakfast and I won't deviate from that narrative, plus the restaurant has a great view and nice decor. The friendly reception is boosted by a happy cat wandering around and then there's the shower, at first I thought I was after opening the door to a car wash but no, each room has a luxury jacuzzi shower that is awe inspiring to behold, only slightly letdown by the fact that nothing bar the standard humdrum shower features we all have to get by with in our dreary home lives is all that is functioning, still the momentary excitement of imagining getting blasted from 400 different angles by warm jets will live longer than the disappointing reality of the water taking 20 mins to warm up in the still functioning section.
  : The shower took so long for the warm water to come through, I was already done by the time I could feel any heat, It wasn't a Wim Hof ice shower experience by any means but I tend to prefer the boil wash, though on this occasion with unseasonably high temperatures, a little cooler water was quite refreshing. A kettle and cups isn't always a guarantee so their inclusion belongs in the likes but the absence of an accompanying spoon was almost a deal breaker, normally it wouldn't be a problem as my boil wash would temper my skin to a fine heat resistance rendering me capable of plucking a teabag from the very cauldron of hell without batting an eyelid but foregoing my ritual steam clean had rendered me vulnerable to the smouldering water that awaited and I almost lost 2 fingers trying to retrieve the bag before the tea would be become an undrinkable stew... should I return, I will be packing my own spoons!
