  : the room itself was excellent. very comfortable and well equipped. location couldnt be better.
  : the building and common areas are very tatty and need a facelift. first impression is not great. there was an incident in the room opposite where the TV was up high and the person downstairs kept coming up to bang on the door. police or someone from the hotel eventually came and it was unoccupied. room was worth the price, overall hotel, not so much. BUT, if all I needed was a comfy room for the night on a work trip, I would go again.

  : The size of the room and all the light from the windows was unexpected. The bed very comfortable. The simple little things like nice wine glasses and the tea tray was very sweet.

  : Staff friendly free upgrade for my birthday, sadly what began as a wonderful celebration quickly turned disastrous when I woke up to find no running water in my room due to a broken water pipe on the premises and a early check out planned. Unable to delay plans my day began unable to shower, use toilet facilities or even brush my teeth.
  : Although my stay was upgraded for free for my birthday and i was reminded of it, it might as well been a night in a tent without running water and the only recompense offered was some bottled water sent over or a later checkout which didn't work for my plans. Refund should have been offered. In addition, all doors entering the building had locks drilled out so anyone could enter the building any hour of day or night. Rear entrances were isolated and a real concern. Perhaps temporary as workers were in process of painting the front of the building but security was still a concern.

  : We had a room with a small kitchenette, which was really useful on the first night as we got stuck in traffic and were able to pick up soup and bread on the way and prepare a simple supper (be warned, restaurants close at 8-9pm in Niantic). The room was spacious (for a family of four) and clean, very comfortable beds and wide windows. It overlooked a carpark but we didn't have expectations of a sea view! There was a welcome tray out for us, and since we were late arriving the concierge had also added a bag with granola bars and crisps for us, which was thoughtful. We were out of season (April) so it was quiet maybe only a 5th occupied?
  : I do prefer hotels that offer breakfast. Sometimes we could hear the people walking in the room above us. The supermarket is a drive away (at the junction with the interstate) and we didn't find anywhere walkable for groceries. We got there an hour before reception closed but they were already shutting up and had put our key in the key collection point already (and said they had phoned to tell us but we didn't get the call). It all worked out fine though.
