Gateway Express

Very Poor
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
  : Nothing
: Terrible location. Grubby. Carpets in bedroom were spongy . Not sure what it was. Place had a smell. Doors heavy to push and pull. No hairdryer. Tv tiny. Very noisy with doors banging and people going up and down the wooden carpeted stairs. Pictures on website were nothing like what I encountered on arrival. Really dodgy area. Reception was in one location and I had to drag my cases four blocks up to another place. No porter. Receptionist not accommodating at all. Not worth a fraction of the price I paid. No restaurants close by. Dont go near the place. It is awful.

: We were a little surprised that it was essentially a converted house, but, this didn't cause any issues

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
: Comfortable bed, good location and lovely lady on reception
: Didn't realise I had to go to the Gateway Hotel first to get my room key, so it would be helpful to have been informed of this prior to checking in, but everything else was lovely
