  : Stayed here previously when it was Gurney’s, sadly it is nowhere near the same experience. It’s terribly managed, the staff is not able to answer the simplest questions. Every answer was “I don’t know, let me find out” even to questions like “Do you have peppermint tea” and “Where is breakfast served”. It was my wife’s birthday so I asked if I could have something special sent to the room. They gave me an order sheet that looked like it was created and printed in 1985 with mainly just bottles of wine, but I decided on French Macarons ($30) because I knew she loved those. Instead, we were given store bought chocolate chip cookies. When I asked the desk if these were in place of the Macarons, I was told…wait for it…”I don’t know, let me check”. After waiting, I finally told them to forget it and just make sure to remove the charge. They then sent a bottle of wine to the room. Okay gesture, but we don’t drink so I thanked them and refused. Come check out time, I see a room service charge for a bottle of wine. Who in their right mind sends a bottle of wine apology and then adds it to the guests’ bill?!?I’m sure these sound petty but I could go on and on. Arcade requires quarters, no change machine in arcade and front desk is out of quarters. Told we can’t sit at a bigger table in the empty restaurant because it’s only for larger parties. In an empty restaurant. At 3pm. Oh, and the walls are paper thin, the couple next to us might as well have been in our room. And the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed. I’ll stop now. We enjoyed our previous stay but sadly will never be back

  : Hotel was poorly run. No water bottles in the rooms. No room service available. No store to buy water. Dinner took 30 minutes to greet our waitress to get a drink. Direct TV felt like from the 2000s. No kids channel to watch TV only pay 19.99 to rent a movie. Awful experience

  : Beautiful place with kind folks! Captain Steve is so accommodating and fun to cruise with on the water taxi. Highly recommend John and his healing hands for massages.
  : It is 99% perfect. Bonuses like hot tubs, steam rooms, and a larger game room for the kids would be amazing additions.

  : Very well done remodel of the facility, very clean, outdoor area very pleasant to spend time in.
  : We booked a room with a view of the water but our view was blocked by a huge cherry picker parked next to our patio for half of our stay there. We tried multiple times to call the bell captain to bring a luggage rack to check out with no answer, as well as no answer from the front desk. I finally made the very long walk to the front desk to request a luggage cart. The reception person stated she would let them know so I walked back to the room and we waited another half hour. I tried calling the bell captain again and reached him and he stated no one had notified him but could come right away. When I went to check out, she looked at me before I even opened my mouth and said “we only have one bellman.” First off, I didn’t ask for an explanation why she didn’t notify him, secondly it wasn’t true as I saw other bellman pushing luggage carts. Other than her, we were very pleased with all the staff from the bellmen and valets to the staff in the restaurants. The view of the sunset from the back deck was perfect.

  : My first room had a beautiful view but the people next door were extremely noisy and than we lost power in our room. Shower leaked. We had to change rooms I asked for a view, all I got was a cement wall. Not acceptable and the person at the front desk was rude
