  : ROOM: My room, #501, was quiet from the outside and had a great view to the west. From the inside, however, you could hear all the noises in the hall and from the elevator, which was fine with me. The "double" bed was just perfect for a 5'7" person and very comfortable. The lighting is great as everything can be dimmed. The room is equipped with reading lamps and good lighting also by the desk. The desk (and nightstand) both have charging stations (USB-C). I found the stool for the desk comfortable and was able to work well on it at the table. In the bathroom, the towels were also very nice and the water flow and temperature worked as expected. The toiletries smell very good (Dyptique-like: Radio Bombay). In general, the room is sufficient for one person (a minimalist in the bathroom). For two people, if you stay more than maybe 2 nights, I would not recommend it, as the bed is small, it has only a bedside table and only a very narrow wardrobe. BREAKFAST: There is a selection of different pastries (the lemon cake is delicious) and the barista coffee is OK, but you have to pay extra for the barista coffee. STAFF: Most are friendly. LOCATION: There is a supermarket around the corner and a Whole Foods Market 5 minutes away. There is a very nice Italian restaurant on 10th Ave, a 10 minute walk from the hotel, perfect for lunch or dinner. OVERALL: The atmosphere in the hotel is generally relaxed, the location is safe, and the Moore is suitable for female solo travelers.
  : ARRIVAL: When I arrived, I was not issued an automatic receipt for a credit card payment of over 3,500 dollars. When I asked about it, the person at the front desk told me that it was very common in NYC for no payment receipts to be issued and that I would not receive a bill until the end of my stay. ROOM/ CLEANLINESS: When I got to my room, the floor was not cleaned and I removed the crumbs and hair from the previous guest with paper. The next morning I removed the layers of dust under the bed myself with the cleaning staff's Swiffer (my Spanish is not good enough for me to explain it to the cleaning staff). However, the general problem with the cleaning is not that the staff don't clean well, but probably that they have the wrong Swiffer attachment (i.e. a normal mop) which doesn't stick well enough so that hair and layers of dust are not removed well during the daily cleaning. Also, the comforters were comfortable but had stains. The TV console was sticky.
