  : Our room although small, was very clean and quiet, being located at the side of the hotel overlooking an alley. There was no welcome pack or written information, (apart from the info detailed on the TV). In other hotels that we've stayed in we've experienced having both. The location of the hotel was very central for everything that we wanted to do which was ideal.The staff would hail taxis for us as and when requested apart from the day of our departure when we were told that we had to flag one down ourselves out in the street. Most strange. We queried as to why and were told it wasn't hotel policy!!!
  : My wife and I booked the Archer Hotel on a recommendation from friends for our party of four to celebrate 60th birthdays previously put on hold due to the Covid Pandemic. Two rooms were booked, requests were made via email that both rooms be on the same floor close together. An email response was received from yourselves (Tracie - Archer's Host) confirming that our request was acknowledged. However, on arrival at the Archer the reception advised they only had a record for two of our party, with no record for myself and my wife. This was strange as the original booking was for four people with two rooms. The reception clerk haughtily informed us it was not their fault but that of Booking.com who had not communicated our information. Thankfully, the duty manager was also in attendance and he advised he would resolve the situation. He finally found a room, but this was on a different floor to our other party members. This was not what we had previously requested and agreed with by the Archer. After some time, the duty manager finally "found" a room on the same floor. During this anxious wait we weren't offered any complimentary drink or snack whilst we waited for the situation to be rectified. On our third day, we had a note pushed under the door saying "sorry for the mix up at reception", that was it. Not even a complimentary bottle of wine.With regards to breakfast, we had a mixed bag for our entire stay. The breakfast themselves were excellent, when we received the correct orders. Out of the four of us in our party there was only one day out of our four day stay where we all received what we had ordered. One particular morning, one of the waiters brought an incorrect breakfast to our table and when we pointed this out, he was quite rude. There seemed to be some difficulty with various members of staff on most days at breakfast time.

  : The Location is Prime. I felt totally safe too with staff there around the clock. The View from my room was so beautiful, I was on the 21st floor. The staff do all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I walked everywhere as hotel in such a great location. Hotel room very comfortable too. I will definately stay here again.

  : Excellent location W 38th between 5th and 6th. Close to Bryant Park, Times Square..easy walking to lots of site seeing. Staff very friendly and rooms were spotless. Comfy beds, quiet. Great value. Sky bar a must.
  : Needed one more trash can. Tight room but that's NYC.
