  : beautiful hotel in a perfect spot. the restaurant and spa facilities are wonderful.
  : we had an apartment so no cleaning service was included. I had expected service at least a couple of times in our week long stay (but no drama).

  : New, clean hotel, nice furniture and equipment.
  : Visitors. It is definitely family hotel, as a results myriads of kids of different age running around and creating a mess. I could barely use elevator couple of times (3rd floor) because kids running it up and down constantly. Now imagine what they do in swimming pool Staff. Remark on my request why the room was not cleaned (uparently, they clean rooms not daily): you should be friendlier Madam, I have friends to be friendlier. Here - I am a guest, client, I am not staying for free. Do your job, you are paid for it

  : Very clean and comfortable infrastructure and rooms. The location is also super good and I can certainly recommend this location. Although there are some negative elements (see below), it is still a great place to be for summer and winter holidays.
  : We arrived after a 12 hour drive and the receptionist neglectedus completely when we arrived as she seemed to have another urgency/phone call, then suddenly, she dissappeared for more than 20 minutes without saying anything to us. Just a small 'welome message' would have been sufficient for us as well as a small notice that she had an urgency and that she would help us further in a few mintues would be appreciated, but we were simply neglected at that moment.... Not a very pleasant welcome. It was the second time that we came to the Venediger Lodge, as the first time was such a great experience, and due to this situation we really started with a bad feeling on our holiday. Compared to last year, when we had a room at the very quiet and silent backside of the hotel, this year we got a room at the side entrance of the hotel, just above the dustbin area where we were disturbed every morning at 07h30 with quite some noice of the cleaning teams. We asked for another room and the (not very friendly) receptionist said it was impossible to provide us with a more quiet room as they were fully booked. Which was indeed the case for the first night, but in the days after, the hotel was not fully booked at all...we would have appreciated a more constructive approach to find a solution to get a more quiet appartment during our 8 days stay. But, apparently they did not want to make the effort to provide us with a better room as soon as one became available. I was even prepared to pay an extra fee for this service, but there was no flexibility at all from the receptionist at that moment. On the other side, I have to say that the other people at the reception and in the bar/restaurant were extremely friendly and customer oriented, but it only takes one person to give another perception of the service.
