The woods and dunes are also nearby. The hotel is ideal as a starting point for a cycling route (we have cycling routes available) to the Oerd (natural area on the eastern part of Ameland) or the Lighthouse in Hollum.
Ameland is an interesting area to wander around or to just enjoy the beach.
