  : I couldn't find the place, I was walking around in a dark street, no sign of the hotel anywhere, I tried to find it, it started raining, I left. I didn't stay there because I didn't feel safe, also I didn't like the attitude of the host, one day before I arrived to Napoli, I received a not very nice message from the host that made my experience bad from there.
  : I didn't like that the host was not nice by message, they ask me to pay 10 euros extra if I arrived after 8pm, they said it was in their policy, never in my life someone charged me more for arriving at 8 pm. So when I question this trying to understand it, and I didn't do it in a bad way, they said by message, that if "I didn't like it, I could find a new place", sad to hear that when hostel was already paid and, not very welcoming conversation. Any way I arrived to Napoli at 8:30 pm, I walked there, it took me like 30 min from the station, in a street that I didn't feel safe, it was dark, some weird guy follow me from the station asking where I was from theres was a lot of people asking for money in the street. When I arrived to the address, there was no sign I could see from the hostel, I asked in a cafe nearby, they didn't know the hotel. I entered in the building according the address, but there was no sign, you have pay for the lift, there was nobody to ask, the building was very old, with huge stairs, i try to go to the second floor, the number of the apartment didn't make sense, finally I gave up, I didn't feel safe, the whole area was not really nice. So I left, cause after the host not being nice, and the street looking creepy, really didn't feel like I wanted to stay there. Later, I wrote them to tell them I couldn't find the place, they answer "It was my problem I walked there, and I didn't take a taxi and they couldn't take care of my emotions". Sorry for being emotional when you arrive alone to a city that is known for being not so safe one day before your birthday, and you only want to feel happy and safe, and you have to take a train at 8 am the next day so I was nervous that I was late, Like really, if you don't want to be nice with the people who book your place, then don't have a hostel.

  : Interesting decorations in the room and very nice hotel staff
  : It was difficult to find the hotel at my arrival, mainly because it was at night. I think it would be important to add a signal outside the building, indicating the entrance.

  : It can be noisy during the night when you sleep with the windows open but that's part of the napoli experience

  : Good Location, Friendly Host.The rooms are all very spacious and have a great old school Italian vibe. Good working air conditioner (thank you)
  : My room was a little noisy but if you choose a central location in Naples, its going to be!! So im just mentioning it for people that are hard of sleeping.Also, the bathroom is private, not ensuite. Although the bathroom is located close to the bedroom, it basically felt like a shared bathroom.once again, no fault of the host, just mentioning it as its good to know before booking.

  : We enjoyed my stay in Napoli Retro, due to some drawbacks. The room was spacious and I liked the retro vibe of the whole apartment. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also okay. The host was extremely nice and helpful :) Of course, the most incredible thing is the location. Its so close to everything - the cathedral, the best restaurants, the bus stop where you can get the bus to the airport. I didnt have problems with finding the apartment and check in. The entrance is not located on the main street, but at the back, next to the lovely square. I recommend the Donna Regina bar next to the apartment!
  : I dont mind traffic noise, its not bothering me so much. However I had issues sleeping, due to the bells of the church located in front of the apartment. I think it was starting before 7 oclock. It was extremely loud! The bells were making disturbing, irregular sound, and it was hard to get used to it. I have no idea how people leaving there can sleep longer, it was a nightmare really. We were getting up early in the morning, so in our case it wasnt that much of the problem, but if someone wants to sleep longer, I think you just cannot here.

  : The rooms are interesting and nice because of their retro style, beds are comfortable and the owners are very helpful.
  : It's not obvious from the description that the rooms for guests are actually the part of the apartment shared with the owners. It's ok when you expect it, but when you don't, it feels a bit awkward. The walls are thin and you can hear the owners talking to each other or playing the piano, you can smell the food, etc. It makes the place lacking privacy for me. But if I knew it and decided consciously for such a solution, it wouldn't have bothered me. The neighbourhood is noisy at night, but that's what you get when you want to stay in the old town. The church bells of the nearby basilica ring very loudly at 7 am.
