  : This room is actually a little detached cabin on the roof of a five-story building right in the center of the historic district in an alleyway off Via Toledo between Toledo and Dante metro stations. It has access to an open roof terrace and a 24-hour astonishing view of the city of Naples. It provided more comfort than it promised to at first glance. AC worked fine, there was hot water in abundance, it was clean, bed was fine, room was serviced every day despite my short sojourn. Most importantly, the host Anna was a most gracious, helpful and charming lady who treated me to coffee and croissant every morning, even though my reservation did not come with breakfast. She was kind enough to supply me with local knowledge with regards to best places to eat and visit. Her cheerfulness made my stay quite pleasant.
  : It was quite a challenge to find the place in the maze of old Naples. You need to look hard at every door facing that short alleyway to spot the name of the establishment. Albeit immaculately clean, the room can be characterized as basic, with a simple closet with a couple of hangers, a small table. The floor is bit uneven. To reach the room, one needs to climb a narrow staircase, so it could be problematic for older people.
