  : Renting a room in this place, you also get to use and enjoy in shared space: spacious, comfy living room as well as the incredibly well equiped kitchen. That enabled us to meet some adventurous people like ourselves and share Icelandic and life experiences. We spent long hours talking to them in the living room. Fantastic social experience. In the kitchen, there are all types of coffee machines, dishwasher and washing machine at your disposal. Also, there is everything you need to prepare your meals, and the house owner who lives next door fills the fridge and cupboards with food, so you have all the food for breakfast/dinner at your disposal. We didn't count on that and it made the experience even more pleasant.
  : While booking the room, our room was pictured as having a view and its own balcony. However, we got a room with blurred windows and no balcony. Also, the rooms that are on the other side of the house have only access to shared (not private) balcony.

  : The property is well located with a very view and close to various activities. Our host welcomed us and we had the pleasure to chat and share the common kitchen with other attendees. So we spent a nice moment there.

  : We loved our stay. It was the best equipped kitchen in a guesthouse weve ever seen. Really good base for exploring the region and the room and whole guesthouse was very clean. The floor to ceiling glass in the living room is amazing, it makes you truly feel as though youre part of the landscape, and the owner of the guesthouse is friendly. Excellent stay.

  : The drive over through the mountains (if you decide not to take the toll road via Akureyri) is already a treat before you arrive at a unique location in a natural park located in the northern part of Iceland. Our bedroom had an en suite bathroom, and was clean. Waking up to see a fresh (thin) layer of snow covered the outside area was a big bonus. The common space has enough room to not bump into the occupants of the other rooms, and the kitchen is well stocked.
