  : Nothing at all when it comes to arriving to a room that is occupied and has never been cleaned.
  : I arrived 12/29 at the Anderson at 4:30pm, so I had my key code from Hosteeva set in my phone. I enter the code and open the door to walk into an oceanfront that was already occupied. I turn the hall light on to see where the bedroom is to set my things down......ummm hell NO. The bed is all messed up from someone sleeping in it. I walk to the kitchen and there are bags (2) from Bone Fish Grill sitting on the floor and the refrigerator had food still in it. I went to the bathroom and there are used towels scattered on the floor and around the jetted tub there are (3) used bars of soap. I make my way into the living room and see a blanket on the couch as if someone was sleeping there. I called Hosteeva and they tried to accommodate me to another property at two other sites which looked older than where I was staying. Hosteeva told me that this was the only property they had at the Anderson. Keep in mind I just drove 3 hours and 40 minutes to now have to look for a room knowing its New Years Eve and how hard it's going to be to find a room on the spot. Please be careful ordering rooms on Booking and then not knowing that Hosteeva is 3rd party site and you are stuck a no refund, but I was refunded due to the circumstances. Remember Anderson Resort do not have anything to do with Hosteeva, because you are given a passcode by email and they ask for a copy of your driver's license and they want a copy of your debit card even though your debit information was entered through Booking. I understand fraud....believe me . I was not happy arriving to a occupied dirty hotel that was never cleaned. I do have pictures as well.

  : A little more updates would be nice. The coffee pot had not been cleaned and had some stuff floating, otherwise the facility is very nice, great location and everything was perfect

  : Called front desk because room smelled bad, walls were chipped, fire alarm was hanging, etc. they said that they would send a cleaning crew and fix the alarms. Never did.

  : The view from the balcony and location.
  : We made our decision based on the photos that appeared on line. It looked like a bright contemporary unit. Instead, it was a dark gloomy unit with furniture that was not only dark and outdated, but obviously used and abused with a good bit of damage. The upholstery was stained, the lamps were from the forty's and provided little light and the drapes were dark, heavy and baroque. The mattress was soft and sagging. The only thing that was correct in the description was the view from the balcony. Had the pictures been true I never would have taken the unit.The sad thing is that our previous experience with Booking in Porto Portugal had been A+.
