  : The location is central. Yet, the pictures won't show, that the pension is on the second floor (no elevator) of an old building, lacking windows, moldy smell.
  : - check in- had to go to a bar, NO ONE CHECKED MY IMPFPASS/ NO ONE ASKED FOR TEST.- the place itself is on the second floor (no elevator) of an old building, lacking windows, moldy smell. - I got an envelope with no wifi/ password.- No staff around to help. - No other guests around to help, I think I was all alone in this place on that night.- I smsed the emergency number, to ask for the password, no one responded, so the online work meeting I scheduled for this evening had to be cancelled.- all in all, feels like a provisory way to make money in an old building with an ok location in Munich. Very unrecommended.

  : The Pension is in an excellent location in Munich, a quick walk to Marionplatz. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and breakfast top notch. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our late check out with ease.
  : Shower is small, but great water pressure, the Pension is on a street with some clubs so could be a little noisy at night with the windows open, but when closed no issue. And there is no elevator, so with heavy bags be ready for the stairs. These are minor issues, as the Pension overall is excellent and I would not hesitate to stay there again and again (I'd just pack lighter next time).

  : - lovey breakfast, on some days - the 'homey' feeling of staying at a family-owned b&b- great location!! This is a great neighbourhood - calm (see my comments on the noise below), easy access to everything, great shops and restaurants- strict Covid measures - very well controlled in terms of masks and things we can touch
  : - it's not really a hotel. It's a b&b, so NOT suited to business travels (I may have loved it if I were on vacation, apart from the noise issue)- the NOISE! We hear everything! The people going up and down the stairs, neighbours taking a shower or entering rooms... but the most difficult for me were the upstairs neighbours (who I imagine are not the b&b guests but just residents) screaming at each other at 7am in the morning. A teenager crisis? I don't know, but I surely could not get a good night's sleep during my stay, despite good mattresses. - it's not a hotel, so the time to eat, check-in, check-out, etc., are limited. We need to depend a lot on the people from the downstairs cafe, who are not always very available. So if you expect 24/24 reception service and other business-hotel-like attentions, this is not your place.- the breakfast was lovely, when good things were proposed. I got the best proposal on my 4th and last day, which means I missed out on a lot of great options they had for the rest of the mornings. The proposals depend on the service personnel, which I find is a shame. In any case, my 4th day breakfast was the best and it was really wonderful. - no lifts available, so you will have to do at least 2 flights of stairs with your luggage. Not recommended for those mobility challenged or with lots of luggage.- all in all, the hotel prices being so high these days, this was a compromise we had to make, but frankly speaking, despite all the good intentions of the personnel, the value for money is not there.

  : The Breakfast at Pension Gartnerplatz was outstanding. Beautiful china, tablecloths, silverware. A lovely setting and delicious food, with several choices. The coffee, from a coffee press, was also wonderful. The location was excellent, near many restaurants, the market square, and Marianplatz.
  : The only challenges were: the rooms are on the upper levels, and there is no lift. We had some heavy luggage to get up the stairs. Also, unlike a hotel, there is often not someone on site who is available if you need something, but I worked things out myself.
