  : I loved the original decor and atmosphere of the hotel. Very quiet location. I ate in the restaurant twice - excellent food. One night there was a good pianist, the other night there was piped music, rather too loud and quite unnecessary for the atmosphere of this wonderful, unspoilt hotel.
  : The hot water was not always available.

  : Literally nothing. I want to be fair, but there is nothing I felt was good. The spectrum was neutral to the worst I've ever experienced
  : READ ME: The worst hotel I've ever been to. I ended up getting a partial refund, from Booking.com, because the hotel wouldn't take responsibility. I proved to Booking.com the hotel was lying to them and Booking.com ended up giving me money back. Thank God I documented all of what happened. Listen to how crazy this is:First I check in and the room is not clean. Bed's not made, towels are wet, soap is empty, room stinks.Then they give me a new room, someone's bags are in it. That doesn't hurt me but they just give keys to people's rooms to strangers? This person has no idea I was in their room where all their valuables were laid out.Then I get a third room but they tell me I have to change rooms the next day. I tell them I have to get up early and I'd have to take my bags with me, they tell that's all they can do. Don't even apologize. I have to rent lockers to store my luggage. I'm paying extra money for them to do a bad job now.Day 3, I come back and there is no electricity in my room. I come down to tell them, and I have to wait around for almost 2 hours. I phone my wife about how bad it is, and someone who works for the hotel physically touches me and tries to move me to a seat, I tell him I don't want to sit and to not touch me again. There was some conference with the University and if you're not with the University they treat you like garbage. So I call Booking.com to complain for the first time in my life, never even left a bad review. Booking.com says they'll investigate.Day 4, Booking tells me the hotel told them the problem was resolved in 10 minutes. But at this point I knew the hotel management was not honest people, so I had been documenting the situation and easily demonstrated to Booking.com that it was more like 2 hours than 10 minutes.They are basically subsidized by the college, so they treat people who aren't affiliated with the college like garbage.

  : The room was antique-style. The breakfast was... okay, for a German hotel. And the pianist they had was pretty kind.
  : Oh my stars. This is not a hotel. It is a bar. It is a bar that has a few rooms above it that you can rent. It is not a hotel. It is not even a hostel. Do not stay in this establishment. There is no soap. There's shampoo, but no soap. The toilets are funky. There is no air conditioning. The shower leaks out into the hallway--badly. There's no elevator. There is an entrance to the "hotel" but it's always locked; you actually have to come in and go out through the bar!
